Leauki, I hadn't intended to comment on any religion other than the Christian faith in my previous postings, since discussing more than one religion at a time can make it hard to keep information straight. If you were to answer one question on my part, I would ask only this: Why do you think that the teachings and suppositions of the Church of Scientology are incorrect? To restate it another way, why does your current religious choice make sense to you, and this o
How can any flawed human pretend to be able to derive moral and religious absolutes from such a subjective source? Almighty God has told mankind very clearly why He created man, what is the destiny, and what man must do in order to attain that destiny. He sent the Old Testament prophets to teach man His will and after that He sent His own Divine Son, Himself, God Incarnate, Jesus Christ, and Christ sent the Catholic Church..a Chruch
Believing in a jealous God is like having an imaginary friend, who doesn't like you. Here's what I would ask to those who consider themselves Christian: Why Christianity? Why not Islam or Judiasm? Why is Christianity more correct in its view of God than these other two?
Quoting DukeEdwardI, reply 1That is GOOD news. I was incredibly disappointed when I heard that Mass Effect had the machine limit DRM but I bought it anyway because I was looking forward to it so much. Looking back, I wish I hadn't just for the principle. It's too bad that Mass Effect was such a good game and I couldn't resist the pull...

serios
The ability to reduce cooldowns effects her. You can easily see this by checking what the cooldown of her abilities is (via the skill screen) and compare it to what value you see when you mouse over the skill. It is however rounded (I don't remember if it is up, down, or closest though). As for the usefulness of the skill. I've been theory crafting using it with that favor item that also reduces cooldowns, and then team up with Erebus to be able to alm
Chaining is a graphical effect only, and does not effect damage.
HoL is waay unbalanced. It almost completely removes downtime in a game, and allows you very quickly to refill your mana supply. You can simply chase away another DG by withdrawing from combat for 5 seconds, and coming back with full health and mana. The more games I play, the more I'm seeing almost every player in the game using it. To the point where no one is actually killing anyone else. It's like every player in the game has a health regen c
Why didn't you get catapaults and giants and end it yourself beforehand?
This is always the real question. How were they able to so easily sneak in and capture your towers, and get cats and Giants? I mean, what did you do with your citadel?
The real gem about Hyrbrid TB, is that he always has MORE damage he can deal. Fireball at max range, then shift to ice for instance, and you have Ice Rain ready if the guy is close, plus ice nova if you need a second to flee. It isn't about trying to necessarily get it all in one burst, but rather that you have such a long burst duration that the enemy can't easily shrug you off. As for how to play hybrid TB, make sure you know when to be in
Yeah, what does that have to do with anything? Also, minions are finely tuned to the DG, making them custom defeats that. I'm really just not sure WHY you want these changes made.
So, the problem me and my mates are having, is we are all sitting in a room trying to play some DG. One of us will host a game, and the others will join it. The first three players get into the game 'fine' and the 4th sits in limbo unable to finish connecting. He will occasionally 'be connected' to each person in the game, but never make it tot he game lobby. Note that we have all had no problem individually connecting and playing games (At least, not
Regulus is also underpowered at healing his allies, and stunning people. Not all DG's are as good as other DG's at everything. Regulus kills people, rook captures and holds flags. Everyone else is somewhere in between.
Some advice: Warlords Punisher: Mana burn + damage hits her pretty hard. Stun effect. Unclean beast for instance can grapple with her to cancel a heal. Use it wisely. Increase your normal DPS significantly if you can. If she HAS to spend all her time healing, then you can make up the difference in normal attacks. Remember that she dispells: If you are using UB, then hit her with the spit right after she heals,
There's also a multi player option 'starting level'. If the game had the starting level at 15 or greater, he could begin the game with that skill. That sounds like the most reasonable option here.
As a note, it also stops people in their tracks until they re-issue a movement command. It's a small thing, but occasionally it catches people off guard and you can gain a little ground on them.
Perceived Problem: The learning curve of this game is fairly steep. This is because a new or newer player has a lot of skills to learn about, a lot of items to learn about, and a fair number of game mechanics that they need to know the ins and outs of. Proposed Solution1: When a player dies (new players die often) instead of putting them in a situation where they can look dimly at the game board, instead: Let them get normal vision of the play space. This wa
I think pets austensibly do better dps, but they don't do it in the mad rush of stuns and DD that the 'assassin' spec does. I've honestly not yet figured out the best way to use generals' minions. I mean, high level ones can make a good contribution to a war effort, especially if you don't just have them following you around at random. But I've honestly not tried that much to see if it's really effective.
Well, citadel upgrades like skill points, still require strategic use. Getting priests, angels, and catas all at once can often leave an xp starved opponent pushing up daisies. DG's that tend to have to just walk up to towers and attack them will often get surprised pretty bad if you've been upgrading your tower armor and health. As always, make decisions based on your opponents and the current state of the game.
Yeah, you aren't going to win 2 vs 1. And yes, QoT's thorn shield is pretty awesome around level 5 or so. However she doesn't actually do a lot of damage, so you can often just tank her if you've got a potion or two. Warlords punisher to drain her precious mana is also a nice 'un. Since you probably want burst damage, go with mines instead of snipe. DPS on mines is much greater than snipe.
There is obviously some kind of plan for an 'invisible' Demigod. Either he, his army, or whatnot will have some ability to become invisible. I highly doubt permanent invisibility, as REQUIRING someone to get a ward to see him would seem too annoying. Maybe a 'pay as you go' invisibility plan, where he pays mana per sec to stay invisible (ala ghosts in Starcraft). There are a few abilities that seem pretty standard for a game like this, and exist on ite
Health Regen unbalanced? I was really hoping to see some good thoughts in this thread, and that was a terrible way to start. In most DG on DG confrontations, damage comes in large bursts, especially over the span of 5 to 10 seconds. Even some of the better regen in the game will only heal a couple hundred hit points in that time. And that's generally just Sedna, and it is sorta what she DOES. Anyhow, here's a few of my thoughts on bala
You should be moving about the same speed as him, if you get the speed + regen branch of skills. Honestly, level 6 you need to just play it smart against the beast. If he spits on you, silence, and then heal (so he can't grasp you too). As long as you can avoid the burst damage, you should be able to outlast him. Buying some priests helps a LOT.
Or just run away. However, that's obviously the pay back for it having the most damage, by far, of any ability in the game. I found that UB's Venom Spit dealing 1500 DoT works much better, because one can actually land quite a few hits. also, if you're fast enough, Spit/melee/foul grasp/spit is an amazing combo that will do a HUGE amount of damage (even more if you add ooze). So while in theory 1700dmg looks awesome, i reall
You get XP when a creep within a range of you dies (15 is normal ranged attack range). It doesn't matter who gets the kill. While a single person cannot get all the lanes, multiple players can. (Note that you get gold from creeps that you did at least 25% damage to).
it's +50% mana per second, not +50. Heart of life is Good, but it isn't THAT good. Unbreakable boots are solid.
