Very important indeed, Cosmoe. Not many people know that one of the strongest tactics in the game is to destroy the opponents health crystal. Most noobs don't even know it is possible.

At the very least, I think maybe someone should look into why a build of this Quality is even possible for any DG. Seems like something you should avoid.
A General who has special uses for his gold His primary skill: Scholarly discount: The trinket mage pays less for items from the shop. Items cost 50/100/150/200 less gold to buy (minimum of 20 gold). Cooldowns from item abilities reduced by 5%/10%/15%/20% The discount may seem like not much, but for consummable items, getting them on the cheap can be an amazing boon. Teleport scrolls, mana potio
I completely disagree. There is really no gold cost conversion of favor items, because their effects stack with things you otherwise get. Anklet is not just 50% better than boots of speed, because the two effects stack. No one without anklet can get permanent +25% speed, not with 1000 gold, not with 4000. I also disagree that your full inventory would surpass someone elses. Because the coin purse gives nothing to start, at the point where your savings would e
But on the other hand, if such an item existed, you would be silly not to use it, unless you made an agreement not to before hand. The devs might want to change this, but while it is in the game it isn't particularly unfair to use it. Unless of course the larger DGs can't use it in which case it's a tough call.
Fairness is one thing, but I do not think it is truly the worry here. Exile is already a disliked map, an
Well, I think Entropy and Towel win the thread for most shame. The important thing with Blade of the Serpent, is that ooze regains mana SO FAST with it. For instance, at rank 4 ooze, you get 37.5 + 101.25*targets So, even if you just stand next to one enemy, turning it on with level 4 ooze gives you 140 mps. You are probably spitting, attacking, etc them too, and very likely in a group of creeps. Point is, you can generate thousands of mana in 10 seconds, often using as many skills as you can, and still coming out with full mana. Ga
I think the problem is really lack of games. If half or more of the games on your list are 'pro' games, and the other half are for countries on the opposite side of the world, then the community is basically saying 'you aren't good enough, you can't play'. I can understand how that must suck for ye olde scrube. That said, when my Prem and I host a game called "Good players, teams ok" it is funny when the entier other team has like, 2 wins AMONG them.
If it applies to both sides, it's fine.
False. If both teams had a 50 gold item they could buy that allows an instant kill vs a demigod when consumed, would that be 'fine'? Balance is more than one team vs the other. Having a healing crystal allowing you to heal in a lane is painful to the game, and makes it less fun.
Looking at your stats Zechnophobe, you dont even use the Queen. Do you have a separate account for her? how do you do that?
That's actually part of the combo that causes this build to be pure Awesome: No one will ever know you even play the Queen.
kill at level 1 is 600 and 300 for assist, not sure where you got 900. Formula is 500 + 100*level, half for assists. I find the Gadget is most useful for builds that have no real snares or finishing effects. It is a good item, but I have never quite managed to elevate it to great item.
how can this build work without shamblers, you max entourage, compost and mulch shamblers, you will need shamblers, why don't you have them. The grunts on your team (Little minotaurs) spawn at your portals. They then proceed to the enemy citadel via a specific path accross the map. That path, which intersects the path of the opponents grunts, is called a 'lane'. You get XP in this game whenever something (Grunt, or demigod) near you dies, or you kill it. By staying near where the grunts are fighting, you get XP. Driving someone from a 'lane' means they are no longer able to get XP for the grunts o
Queen of Freaking Thorns baby, lets roll. While you are at it, frogboy, could you rebalance the Ultralisk in starcraft, it doesn't do enough damage.

Tracking device you can only get at level 5, and doesn't work on people you aren't already aware of.
Okay, I'll give it a shot. Eagle-Eye build: Snipe Sniper Scope Mines Snipe Mines Save Snipe + Mines Tracking Device Save Snipe + Mines Totems of Revelation + Bejewelled Goggles. Early Items: Scaled Helm Wand of Speed Vlemish Plenor Battlecrown So... you have lots of vision, so what?&nb
I think everyone pretty much understands that mines are a huge problem. We see thread after thread annunciating the same tacit points. Reading all of these, I have come up with a very comprehensive list of the best way to fix Mines, so that they are no longer a balance issue: Decrease damage at all levels by 1 point. (300 to 299, 350 to 349, 400 to 399) Rename to Mines/Grenades These changes are extremely important for the success of
Note also that Fpulrelignia, a player, has a hack which causes my teammates to play poorly. He always uses it at the start of the game, to make sure he wins. Do not play with him. P.S. he also kidnapped my cat, because I can't find it anymore.
Quoting Zechnophobe, reply 16Well, I think as a level design it is probably Interesting(nose tap). I'm not sure if it would be fun to play on though, but would at least be an interesting arena to create and play around in. Sadly, the DG engine very likely can't support this: Dynamic Grunt paths sounds like a real pain. Dynamic pathing in general is going to be a trick. Inevitable bugs like Erebus batswarming to a loca
Quoting SoFFacet, reply 11Actually that tactic is currently available. If you have many %chance-crit items, they stack. If they all go on the same attack, you can get several thousand damage in one hit, often head-shotting your unlucky victim. Well, the chance of getting a 12x crit is about 1 in 2000. Not to mention that you need an artifact to do so....
10% for Ashkandor, 10% for Slayer's Wraps, 5% for cuirass.&n
I've been working on a pet project recently. Basically it has started to really hit home that the best player combo is Beast and Sedna, and that quite generally, but the best two DG's are those two as well. So, thinkest I, why am I tailoring builds around opposition that isn't that big of a threat? Why not try to make myself a silver bullet vs the two big bads?
Prison is not a bad map, you just can't play it like any of the others which is nice.
My personal bias against the map aside, that was actually my main point. A guide focusing on a map that is so different than all others is sub optimal. Uh, just to make the point though, I'm cranky and tend to point out the flaws in things, instead of the awesome nuggets therein contained. This is a pretty good guide overa
