Unfortunately, I now cannot log in to the new site!
Nice presentation! I would really like to know if you would consider raising the number of thumbnails you can view on a page higher than 18???
Is there any way to save the number of thumbnails when you select them. Every time I return, it's back to the original.
It would seem there is a problem logging on when using Windows 7. Any comments from Stardock concerning this problem? I am logged onto the present site but not the beta one - it won't let me!
Ideally suited for anyone having a resolution of 800x1680. [e digicons]:)[/e] Still cannot log in.
Won't even let me log in ! (:(
Geoff here ... [e digicons][/e]
I would still like DX if only for the ability to customize. I can't stand the stock Vista/7 sidebar or the included gadgets.
But which DX Objects/gadgets do you actually use? [e digicons][/e]
The HTML was about 2 pages long....ya gotta keep away from those fancy word processors...
I don't think it was the word processor - 'Microsoft Word'. I think it was either Firefox or wincustomize site. [e digicons]>_>[/e]
OK – As most people will know, I have been using/creating Desktop themes for many years now, but with the arrival of Windows 7 and the present state of DesktopX itself, it seems no longer a viable option. Firstly, DesktopX objects: Does anyone use any other than perhaps a clock, weather object and calendar? With Windows 7, you already have these as gadgets plus many more. Menus: With the new taskbar in Windows 7, all your programs can be pinned to it includ
For anyone who likes Right-click, there already ia a replacement - NextSTART 100% better. Easier to use, easier to configure, uses png files and never crashes. [e digicons]|-)[/e] It works perfectly on anything from Win 95 - Window 7, 32/64 bit
Differnet
Is that like internet ? [e digicons][/e]
If you haven’t tried Winstep Xtreme yet, I recommend you try. I hve been using DesktopX for many years but Xtreme is awesome. You can try it for free so you have nothing to lose. I now prefer this to DesktopX for these reasons: 1. A Weather module that works without any registering with other sites, etc. And is very easy to configure. 2. NextStart, which is sim
Same problems here - I'm sure someone from Stardock will tell us why this is happening. [e digicons]O:)[/e]
Sign out then sign back in, it should clear.
Tried that - still ads but now I'm a "citizen" [e digicons]:S[/e]
I have just started getting adverts on the site although my subscription is still active - Anyone else have this problem ?
I already responded to your e-mail. Sales has been closed for the long weekend and it still can take time to get to requests based on the amont of e-mail.
Sorry if you responded but I didn't know. I hadn't received any answers to the email. Could I be kept in the loop so I know what's happening. Thanks.
They will get around to you, when they get back from the extended weekend
Does the weekend start on Wednesday 'cos thats when I sent my first email ? [e digicons]X([/e]
Except everything other than the 5 day forecast is for US only
All previous weather objects were for 5-days wern't they ? I thought this would be an improvement on the present situation on DX because the 5-day report is always visible no matter what webpage you are looking at. Yes - the satelite view is only for the USA but how often would you use it. [e digicons][/e]
This weather add-on for Firefox is very useful and is a very good replacement for a DX Weather object. The five day forcast is shown at the bottom of the browser and a panel appears on each day on mouse-over with more information. Fully configurable for your location. No need for subscribing to weather websites at all ! [e digicons]5*[/e]
About time - well deserved. :CONGRAT:
I think that, before we all say what we want to see, we should repair what we already have! 1. DXPlayer ........ Rubbish. Take a look at Xion. 2. Right-click ...... Needs extreme updating. Many people use it. 3 Systray .......... Doesn't work at all, ( with Vista ). I'm sure there is a lot more like this. Any developers out there ................. [e digicons]X([/e] Help !!
I thought all the weather objects were to be removed yet they are all still available for download - has the removal process not started yet?
You have Your desktop clutter back with a double-click, just a bit more organized.
I have Right-click set to contain both the systray and taskbar - that does it for me. [e digicons][/e]
My "perfect stardock desktop" would consist of: WB OD+ RC Fences
Doesn't Right-click negate the need for Fences, Objectdock etc. That would just be a duplication of what you already have.
