Those of you who are still in love with XP should try Windows 7. I used to love XP too and we still have it at work but it's old and outdated now. As for Windows 8 I was going to install it on my other computer this weekend but have decided to hold off for a bit and see what happens.
Here is a link to an article on Stardock's Windows 8 start button. It is nice to see Stardock getting some great press and I am sure a lot of people will be pleased to have the Start Button back.

Thanks, Uvah! I've been watching some of those posts. It looks like Stardock will be on top of things but I suspect there will be others as well. I do love to be up-to-date but I may drag my feet awhile on Windows 8. Dell Stage was enough for me so I disabled it. Dell Stage looks a lot like the previews of Windows 8. [e digicons];)[/e]
Ars Technica has written a great article on Window 8. Despite their positive review, I think I will drag my feet on making the change. I have a Windows 7 phone but that does not mean I want the same type of interface on my desktop PC. So far, Windows 8 seems to work well for casual users - searching the Internet and reading mail but not particularly suited for productivity. Hi Everyone, My understanding is that the Metro interface in Windows 8 is optional. Sure hope so! How about Chrome? Chrome is a nice browser and supports Flash. I used it for gaming as both IE 8 and Firefox had problems with that particular game. OR break down and get Windows 7. You will love it - promise! [e digicons]:thumbsup:[/e]

IE9 is not compatible with WB and it is squirrely. I will wait for Beta 2 on this one (or later) and I suspect we will see an update for WB to handle the changes which are significant. I do think it will be a great browser once all the wrinkes have been "pressed" but I am not willing to give up WB and my other software to beta test IE 9. JMHO of course.

Hi Rednbing, In Window Blinds, click on Colours at the bottom of the page and then on change system colors. You can change any that you like including menu text. OR you could go to the Control Panel, click on Personalization, Window Color and then on Advanced Appearance Settings to see if it is a system color that is causing the problem. Just scroll down and select Menu and you can see the background and the text color. Hope this helps a bit. </

Hi Selvan777, This sounds like a font color issue rather than a Cursor FX problem. I had something similar happen to me once. It turned out that the selected/highlighted text color was the same as the background color. Thus, when I highlighted text, it "disappeared." If you are using WindowBlinds, it is very easy to change font colors. Just select "Fonts" at the bottom of the page and then select Change Individual Skin Fonts. If your text and backgr

Sounds like it might be a good idea to get rid of it! Try Revo Uninstaller and use the most comprehensive mode (the bottom one). Might be a good idea to create a system restore point first.
