We had no tv only radio in the 50's. But I fondly remember my Hornby clockwork trainset and my Winchester. And attitudes were different then. Could go on all night, but one example - I remember at night listening to the PanAm Constellations droning their way into Shannon airport, and my parents saying "God speed them on their journey". Nobody thinks like that today. Different times, different attitudes to life.

I only use Impulse because I'm told to, i.e. for software downloading/updating. But I dont care for the new white background. The old one with the gradient effect was much nicer. Also, restore the Orb and nothing will be said!

I've never had reason to uninstall Fences so I dont know the implications, but I doubt that it would also physically remove or disable other software, i.e. your games, installed on your computer. Perhaps your game shortcuts have been removed. Just out of curiosity, if you liked Fences so much, why did you decide to remove it? By the way, your choice of nick may not be the best at eliciting constructive responses to your problem.

I'm using it with Vista HP SP2 32bit, I experienced the "corrupt Memory" problem when using the Load and Save functions. These problems stopped when I upgraded to the latest version V1.5 via Impulse.

Received the expiry notification at midnight, quothing Nov 1st, and informing me Fences would now run with reduced functionality. I rebooted, and, as far as I can make out, Fences is still running normally, with no reduction in it's features. [e digicons]:)[/e]
I did'nt know an update was available until I read this post. Just updated (via Impulse) to v0.99.2030 Beta, set to expire Nov 1st, 2009. Interesting to see what will happen on the stroke of midnight! It's 11.22pm here now. [e digicons]8C[/e]
