How about a subterfuge option for our spies funding pirates to attack a particular CIV. We dont need to control it, just fund it. Evil races could allow pirates to operate from their "dead" class 0 planets. Why wouldn't evil be in league with pirates? Could be put into your Pirates DLC.
Im playing version 2.6 on a ludicrous map with 35 godlike AI. 34 of them are yours duplicated. Im about 22 hours in and kicking butt, everybody but my one ally declared war on me and Im annihilating everyone turning the galaxy into a graveyard of dead planets. Im more powerful than the next top five CIVS combined. My game crashed and now my save is broken and crashes every time I load it. Arghhhhhh Help me!!! This is the third time I've come close to winning ludicrous godlike and Im not able
A couple ideas. AI based game, not scripted. 1. Trade/Diplomacy/Immersion: a. Allow 50 week trade options where I can negotiate with a producing AI player to provide example, 4 Anti-Matter per week for 2 Durantium per week. If we can reach continual trade agreements like this with another CIV it gives us reason to defend them and their resources against other CIVs, rather than now choosing a CIV to befriend based on strategic map locatio
While playing 2.6 I unlocked the Benevolent Trait Outreach II, Explorers, but instead of receiving a class 10 planet I got a dead class 0 world. Also on the same turn the Altarians who have an adjacent star system received a class 10 world. Dont know if we unlocked same time or the bug on my unlock gave it to them. Additionally the bazzaar is not updated to correctly reflect the ship stats you are buying.
I take this example code to tag a potential planet as a target is only one of many codes that tag a planet as a target for varying reasons and not the sole reason a planet may be tagged as such.

How will resource crystals be returning to GalCiv 3? Have you thought about obscuring them inside asteroids? I didn't like how the old game had them floating around in space by themselves, often times the only thing in a quadrant. Im sure you could come up with a cool idea if you played around with it for bit.
