Entrenchment wont work with Windows Vista 64 in Stardock Software Stardock Forums

I've just downloaded Entrenchment (already had Sins of a Solar Empire downloaded and running) and now when I try to run the screen just goes black - nothing. If I use Task manager I can close out of Impusle and it restores desktop. Any suggestions? Im running Vista64 - brand new computer. Im thinking firewall but even turned off it makes no difference.
