Entrenchment wont work with Windows Vista 64

I've just downloaded Entrenchment (already had Sins of a Solar Empire downloaded and running) and now when I try to run the screen just goes black - nothing. If I use Task manager I can close out of Impusle and it restores desktop.

Any suggestions?

Im running Vista64 - brand new computer. Im thinking firewall but even turned off it makes no difference.

im pretty sure it will run under vista x64.  I have 32bit and run without trouble.  i know its a new computer but have you checked to make sure it is running the latest video drivers? nine times out of ten that is the issue.
