load up Impulse and see if you can download the beta, it won't hurt you if it doesn't work.

hmmz. yes, balance would be an issue. i suppose it wouldn't be at all hard to re-scale damage, health, and cost with the settings. come to think about it, that'd be childs play, i've done something similar in SupCom already.
lmao, generals with 30 units, have fun microing that, ill stick to my assassins thanks
who needs micro. when i've got SPAMMAGE.
good to hear that it's got attention. for the record, i read all my things carefully and noted the whole 'will not be charged until this product becomes available to you.' way back when i first ordered. that said, it's a bit ambiguous at that point whether or not the product is or isn't available . that's my current gripe. then again, if you're old enough to be purchasing things online you should be mature enough to read t
Well... you can always mod it
oh, trust me, i will.
yeah, it is a common pain. could someone from SD (after all, it's your forum ) cast a bit of magic and make the notice more discrete?
that's because you aren't allowed the beta (specifically beta 1) anymore. that beta has been closed to new purchases and you'll have to wait until beta 2 becomes available -- when that is released you'll find a nice new addition in your MyGames tab.
yes, this would be a great option to have. though it really needs to be obvious to the users, maybe a game option or something?
try geometric instancing in CCC (for all those ATI users out there), SupCom has issues with it turned off so it's worth a shot at hokeying about with. [EDIT:] if that doesn't work, look through the known bug list, and the beta feedback forum for previous mentions of it and if you can't find any mention of it then make a new thread in beta feedback.
i really suspect it's a compatibility issue with your sound card/drivers. may i ask what sound card (even if it's integrated) and driver version you are using?
no, X2 3800+ is a dual-core, i had one for quite a while and it served quite well on up to 20km maps. Bier, can you verify that it's three to five FPS? that sounds extraordinarily low. pressing forward slash (between numpad and asterisk on a QWERTY keyboard) will bring up the render-time in Demigod. what values do you get there?
hehehe, look at the chaos i've caused. anyways, i'm still rather cut because the latest beta came out about 6 hours after my monthly quota (with pretty much 1.1GB spare) ticked over and zeroed. so, i can't yet play Atlantis. great timing SD, ye' bastards! lol, JK.
ah but, Gnat3, isn't beta 2 supposed to include fully-fledged online play?
currently beta 1 is closed to new testers, but beta 2 will be open to all existing testers and people that have subsequently pre-ordered. once beta 2 rolls out, you'll be able to download it via Impulse (it's a lot like Steam, if you want something to compare it to) once StarDock emails you the key. i expect beta 2 will be before the month is out, so don't fret about not being able to play. just feel free to read through the forums so you know what to expect.</p
since it hasn't yet been directly said; nice interview there Brad.
i do believe this happened in an earlier beta too, check the bug list.
in the previous beta it was queued at 30%. i don't know what value it is now, as i haven't yet downloaded 1C.
maybe we need dotswarlock to get in on the beta (if you didn't immediately think 'oh hell yes, we need a demi-Bagby'[i/] then you obviously don't frequent the Gas Powered forums enough).
you can change the camera angle in this game?
yes. if you don't already have the beta, you can zoom in and out with scroll, and while holding space-bar wave the mouse like a mad-man. [EDIT:] damn. i've been ninja-ed by Trig.
damn. i'm so annoyed right now. i got caught up looking at the new DGs and minions in the above video i tried to zoom in to get a better look. i severly doubt that QoT has been removed. afterall, how many angsty-teens will outrage and boycot the game?
just North of Newcastle, NSW.
im in aus and i bought it when it was dirt cheap, Yay
ooh, ooh, another Aussie. East Coast or West?
yes; there will be post-release support, and if StarDock's history is anything to go buy support will be quite good. i've heard many rumours and discussions on expansion/booster packs (both free and microtransactional) for Demigod, but that's something left to either a SD or GPG rep. for clarification.
[e digicons]5*[/e] times [e digicons]5*[/e]
fixed; this is worthy of twenty-five stars.
By contrast, with generals, players who love their RTS games more traditional in style gain a unit more akin to a commander in Total Annihilation. This type of demigod is still very powerful, but its greater strength comes from the units under its command. The character can summon various forms of minions, and give them orders .
good, now there's no ambiguousness over controlling a General's minions. /BulletMag
