Thanks for the thoughtful post. We planned to do Early Acces for so long so that we could do balancing changes if necessary to keep the game healthy. One option I've been considering is taking away the scientific BM bonus and replacing it with faster ships, which means they would have some immunity to pirates and flexibility to put buildings farther from their base. I would also like to consider more BM options and then selecting 5 of them from "the deck" each game to add more var

haha, it's true that for some people, they always choose hardest difficulty and (in MP) maximum number of players, no matter where we set the bar!

Are you wracking up a lot of debt when you win? Sometimes it is better to lose and just focus on making money. If you have a lot of debt, it sucks up your income between turns. (Your stock price is basically just relative to how much money you are making.)

Thanks for the feedback - some of this is going to be addressed in Beta 3, and we still have a long way to go with the patch. I guess my main question would be why you are having to play on CEO. I am not surprised that the campaign is pretty strange on that level, but I would hope that you don't need to test on that level. I assume it is just too easy to beat the AI on Executive or VP? If so, what big mistakes are the AI making?
