calling europe socialist is total nonsense, while there are many definitions of socialism they all share the idea of state property of means of production like it was in the socialist GDR or SU (they call themselves socialist with the goal of ultimately reaching communism), name one european country where this is the case. But I wonder how you explain that, if you consider europe a socialist bunch of countries and you are very scared of socialism because it destroys the econ

infant mortality (death at age below 5) : 6,3 per 1.000 births for USA, 5,61 for Italia5,36 for Canada, 4,93 for UK 4,0 for germany, 3,36 for France, 2,8 for japan,(https://www.cia.gov/library/publications/the-world-factbook/rankorder/2091rank.html) - WHO even has a number of 8 per 1000 for the USA. Having a higher infant mortality than Cuba is not what I call a succesful health system. Children are not at fault for having poor parents. I don't know if you are pro-life but
nah Sedna is the Cat-riding woman and Queen of Thorns is the flowergirl. Oculus is a non-confirmed General of whom a few concept arts and a few lua files existed in an earlier build (maybe still exists, don't know). We might get him later or maybe he was completely removed.
read again, you spend more on the health system as all other countries do and it still is worse, I don't know your system enough to know the reasons of that maybe it is because there is no strong agent who ensures people don't get ripped of, maybe its because of trusts, maybe because of corruption or maybe because there is not enough money put in prevention which is cheaper than having ill workers. We are talking about 1 Trillion Dollar which the health system costs m
its quite interesting that aside from all the statistical oversimplifications (not accounting for the fact that young people usually earn less just because they are still at college university yet etc.) Obama would have won as well if you exclude all the below 30K voters.
you aren't seriously telling me that europe is socialist?
My parents lived in a communist marxist country (German democratic republic) and my brothers and me partly grew up in it so we experienced socialism first hand. Now we live in a capitalist country called federal republic of germany which is basically a Social market economy and calling Obama and Marxist is about as accurate as calling Angela Merkel an Marxist. USA isn't a pure&nbs
CharlesCS, I live in germany and being different just for the sake of being different isn't smart. I mean do you really consider it good that the USA spends 15,6% of their GDP on a health care system which doesn't seem to work as good as cheaper healthcare systems.
looking at this statistic http://www.oecd.org/dataoecd/46/2/38980580.pdf, I concur that countries with universal health care (and with a higher life expectancy) don't necessarily have to spend more than countries where only part of the people are insured. 6700$ spending per capita ppp is an insane value compared to 3300$ for germany and 2300$ for Japan, the most geriatric of all big countries (USA has a pretty good population pyramid still so its even more shockin
You can't decrease the income gap and have a wealthier country overall. The reality is, a tiny percent of the population do the things that make everyone else better off. If you take away from them to give to everyone else, we ultimately all suffer in the long run.
I just wonder why there are countries with so called "socialist" (coming from the former german democratic republic I
how many are online in RA3 at the same time approximately? (If they have such a cool feature as showing how many guys are online^^)
http://kotaku.com/5069015/even-germanys-box-art-is-censored-now This is lame. I post it however, not only for the image of the forthcoming Miss November (top right), but also because of something said about the Steam service which disturbs me. According to a reply following that article, Steam segregates digital downloads according to region. This means a culturally medieval fascist state like Germany (funny how they seem to become th
Yarlen, I didn't blame you for that, I am not even blaming anyone if they decide to have the games nontransferable (although its still a bit strange as all other purchases with some exceptions like medicine are freely tradeable). I just dislike a lot that there is a difference between buying the game in a store and buying it online. If I for example would buy sins online, I can't give it away to a friend. If I buy it in a shop I can. If there was a system to prev
Broosbee its not so much about selling for me, its more that I like to give my old games like monkey island to my younger cousins who were born after it got released or System Shock 2 to friends who think halflife had a good story. Yah I could give my friend the account data but then he would have access to all my games, not just the one I want to burrow, o
So I thought about buying Company of Heroes from Steam or Impulse (once it is available) but after some thinking I decided against that and will buy it in a shop because it is the better choice for me. I find it discomforting that just because I get something digitally I don't have the same rights as when buying it in a store so I made the logical choice. If it was expected to be cheaper than in the shop I might have decided otherwise but with this regional pr
they have a market cap of about 8 Billion Dollars currently, maybe if the markets really crash it is worth considering :P
from what I have seen in the editor already it should be very easy to create maps with more than 2 teams, I guess it needs to be some kind of king of the hill style then to make any sense gameplaywise but it can be done.
It will be fixed surely, remember we are still in a early beta, glad it works now.
it might be because of the l'accent aigu in Cédric, I've seen quite a few guys with problems when they had some nonstandard letters in their username. Try creating another userprofile where you only use "normal" letters and see if it works.
its a bit offtopic but, I sometimes wonder if it was more efficient to have a video where the developers of the game explain how hard they worked on it and that they do it for a living which shows up on pirated versions before the actual video which you get after beating the game instead of the usual "game will not run (without a crack)" scheme
Warnstaff I think he doesnt speaks about changing it for stardock products just providing a protection scheme for other publishers who want to sell via impulse.
Did people refused to buy games 10 years ago just because they couldn't burn their game on a CD and give it to a friend (without a crack) I doubt that so it isn't the DRM per se, its the implementation. A fair DRM which doesnt has silly install restrictions like Securom
aren't all online features pretty much invulnerable by just having a cd-key? so what good is securom for online features? (I hope me is not being naive here) I guess a starforcelike protection without all the bugs, performance problems, security issues and which is easily uninstallable. would be nice but I'd think if it was that easy the starforce developers would do it themselves. Less intrusive means less secure most likely but when games are cracked pretty easily and
they also said it isn't finally decided yet
Lets see what we can get when following these principles: 1. Player should always remain in complete control of his Demigod (meaning that a rightclick somewhere on the map is always a move/attack order for your Demigod, F1-F3 is always "use item" and 1-4 is always the abilities.) 2. P
