its more likely because the Hamas relies on Allah to win the war and Isreal relies on a modern army.
I'd argue that editing is a lot easier nowadays than analog with VHS or Betamax.
china surely considers climate change a threat as well because of Al Gore and Robert Redford...
all you guys who says that global warming happens because of increased sun irradiance, I'd really like to see your sources. There is indeed a very strong correlation between global temperature and sun activity - til about 1970. see http://www.mps.mpg.de/dokumente/publikationen/solanki/c153.pdf But after 1975 there is a sharp rise in temperature while the sun activity didn't increase in average t
but they need to be constructed. and that process of construction consumes so many power... one of these wind generators would be worthy that energy after 20 years of running perfectly... i dont realy think that those generators are wothy as long as no better ways of winning energy from wind power are developed. (on other planets they could generate a these ammount of energy in only 3 years because the average wind speed is there many times higher... but on earth there are only a few p

I always say gg at the end of the game when I lost (unless it is versus my brother, then I just stand up, walk 10 meter and try to throw him out of the window), it may be not always accurate in the original meaning of the phrase but as long as someone comes up with a better phrase I'll use it even if it was a bad game. I don't like people who write gg first when the won a game.

is a 8500 weaker than a 7950GT? My 7950GT runs Demigod perfectly (well 20-30 fps but thats enough for an RTS) at a medium/high custom setting on 1400x1050 (no antialiasing).
21. In game commands to see your armor reduction, movement speed, attack speed, ect.
if you open the character screen, there is a minimize icon left to the close menu (x) buttton, it shows your most important stats in a small box in the lower left on the screen then.
14. True, but giving too much weight on a single position of the map (the 3x experience flag) it renders map control in the traditional sense pretty useless, its more like king of the hill/flag then. I do agree that flags in general need to a bit stronger though.
Mainly, games last way way too long making the game not enough fun. We need features that allow a team of skilled players to win in a short amount of time. Right now, it seems like games take
4. already in 5. sounds good 6. already in 6b. already in 10. General Minions already don't give XP 11. I think they are already too strong in the early game, but need a better scaling towards the endgame (higher level idols need a buff and probably a cost increase) 12. agree 13. what about neutral portals just spawn mainly siege units, giving them 4x damage seems a bit artificial and how can you distinguish a 4x damage minotaur from a n
your spawns don't give the enemy XP at all... In my opinion the minions currently are too strong in the early game and too weak/low hp in the late game. That should be solvable with changing the item costs of Level I to IV idols and their stats. Aside from that Oak and erebus are currently 2 of the strongest heroes, at least I think so after about 20-25 games.
Yes, in Economics they are called Type I and Type II errors. Basically, doing nothing is a type I error. Doing something that is wrong is a Type II error and much more severe.
"in economics"? thats a very narrow view, its basic statistics and is used everywhere. It also always depends on the context if a Type I error is worse or better than a Type II error; saying that one is more severe than another is false. Given that the null hypothesis can be made either
there are gold mines attached to flags, depending on map you have 2 to 4 at your homebase flags from the beginning on and then on most maps there are additional gold mines to capture which then increase the income. Yes Grunts do give a bit money, regardless of you killed it or not, but only if you are near them when they die (like XP); the money is split if others of your team are nearby as well. and then you can also buy a upgrade at the citadel which increases the money gene
Slumlord do you have your color depth set to 16-bit by any chance, I remember a bug like this was in supcom with 16-bit under some circumstances.
replays are already saved as lastgame.forge (or something like that) in mygames/gaspowered/demigod and will be fully implemented later, they are buggy currently anyways.
Last stand is a cool idea, but I think there need to be 2 changes: 1) Oak does no or very low damage to buildings (I managed to do reduce citadel to about 30% hp while being in last stand (with a few seconds alive before) in the late game. Now Imagine a team with 2 or 3 oaks, they will just destroy your citadel without being able to do anything against it. 2) he shouldn't be able to capture flags in this mode.
I'm all for no tourture... as soon as our enemies agree to stop as well. But the simple truth is when your men and women are falling on the battlefield (or as civilians) you will do anything in your power to keep it happening to more of them.
you do see the problem that the can make the exactly same point about torture then? "Why should we stop torturing when the USA does?" "How can you say its bad to torture when your allies torture as well"? Surely you
You've obviously not played any modern RTS - Dawn of War, World in Conflict, Company of Heroes, Supreme Commander, etc. all have fixed locations that provide income that can not be destroyed. Making decisions that impact us on such a massive scale on the basis of a 50/50 proposition is pretty dicey, at least in my opinion.
thats true for both directions though, taking no action is just as much a decision based on luck as taking action then (that is from your standpoint that all the studies which indicate the probability of a manmade influence are not even slightly better than a cointoss.)
