I have encountered numerous other bugs as well, almost countless amounts of them. This is the buggiest game I have played in years. Makes one wonder if the game is really out of alpha after all.

The button to create or disband armies is greyed out after loading a game... Come on guys I've only put 7 hours into this game and have encountered numerous game breaking bugs. Was there even a quality control for this product?
Freezes for me too. I bought the game today and it's already frozen on me like this 3 times. It is literally unplayable. It has been a LONG time (years) since I've played a game with game breaking bugs like this. None of my other games mess up, and my computer surpasses the recommended requirements of the game (I'm a computer tech by trade so I know how to read the requirements and understand them). I do have an Nvidia 970 GTX and have read that Nvidia cards
Our mod works with or without the 1.82 bEta. So 1.80 or 1.82 is fine for Rebellion versions. It is only stock game balance changes mostly. https://forums.sinsofasolarempire.com/450865 The recent SOA2 patches are only good for the newest current Full Release on the download page you should have 0.6.8 Full, then patch with 0.6.9 overtop, should ask to overwrite files, choose yes. I wasn't aware I had to sign up for a beta for a mod. I'll probably pass then. Thanks for clearing it up though. EDIT: I see now, it's the beta for the game. Damn, I didn't think they were going to do any more patches for the core game. Curious.

I've played with several different mods, and this is the only one that is unstable for me. All the others work with no problems. If I disable random events it seems to run ok...so far. Wow.... how wei
Quoting xclavex, reply 4599 It's an interesting mod. I'm going back and forth between this one and the new Armada 3 mod. Unfortunately for me, this mod is not stable. It has crashed on me 4 times at random intervals. I'm going to try a couple things first, but if it refuses to be a stable mod then I may have to remove it. A shame, it looks interesting. Seriously? Not stable?&
No, I only used this mod. One thing I tried was disabling random events. So far, it seems stable but I have played matches before for an hour or two and then I get a dump error message.

Same problem here. Game crashes from a new game within about an hour or two. If I load a saved game that had been in progress for awhile, it crashes within about 10-15 minutes every time. When it crashes, I get some error message on the desktop regarding the game. Running win7 Premium 64bit. Irritating as all hell as I just want to play the game...

I think the current track record speaks for itself. However i would like to see anothe

No, I mean, is this just Vent players? I have never even see most of the players on your list in the official matches.
So...is this entire list of players just those that play the unofficial vent servers? I haven't played many on that list...cept tuki and I play a mix of Panth and Custom matches.
I hate having to pussyfoot around for the first three minutes of a game, trying not to kill my opponent for fear that if I do, they will quit (since most are aware that a game doesn't count until after the 3 minute mark). Why there is such a dreadfully long wait is anybodies guess, when one minute would be more than enough time to decide if you are going to stay or not. My only solution is to deliberately NOT kill anybody for the first three minutes. I can't tell you how many times I've been
Include some guy named "Nilanthi". He only plays against fights he is certain to win (noobs or mediocre players). He absolutely refuses to play against me in Pantheon matches, and throws concedes once the match has started. Seriously, the guy is a stats whore. Seriously though, look at the guys games played list, look at all the NA/Incomplete games in there. If there is even a remote chance he will lose, then he won't even try to play. http://pant
No reply from Stardock and they just started another Assassins vs. Generals Tournament
EDIT: They just made me eat my words by resetting Pantheon, though I'm glad to be proven wrong.
Yeah, me joining the Ass team was a BIG mistake. Can't beat a general once they have minion swarms up no matter how good you are (unless they are total noobs).
Yeah, I joined team ASS this round, and all it takes is a decent oak or erebus player, and it's game over since all pantheon is anymore is 1vs1. I won't be playing it much in that case heh.
counter argument - the last panth actually ended?
Yes.
The last one slowed to a crawl once word got out how out matched the Asses were. Is this one doomed to be a Pantheon for eternity then?
It took forever to find in an actual store. I got the last copy after checking four stores. It's an underrated game, mainly because of the bad start due to pirates raiding the multiplayer. So let that be a lesson to you. Kindness is not rewarded in business, at least not in the short term.
It is definitely the most under-rated game of the past two years or so. It is unique, more complex yet simpler at the same time
Many people at another forum are consistently claiming that Demigod was a huge failure "blah blah blah blah". It was my understanding that it sold pretty well actually, and while it's multiplayer is likely about as good as it's going to get (but still FUBAR), it's still a fun game. I can't seem to find any raw sales figures though. What was the production budget? How much did it make? How many copies were sold?
Brain storm causes a net loss in mana if you use it with full mana. The reason is because the ability has its effect (add mana) before it costs mana. This isn't a bug.
No that isn't a bug, but causing a loss when you only have partial mana is a bug. It doesn't happen all the time, but it does happen.
