hard cheats too much. If hard cheats, then that's news to me....hard is easy and I haven't even had any multiplayer experience yet...
screw that bug, how about the one where your unclean beast simply REFUSES to follow an enemy demigod? this happens on ALL maps when both of you are on the other side of the corner.. for people who play the UB.. they know what i am talking about.. its so annoying they get a free escape everytime this happens... wtf
Yeah, I've noticed this targetting error is at its wo
Considering that you do a LOT of teleporting around the map (well, you should be anyway since most decent players do) it would be nice if there was a "home base" button that you could press and it would center the map on your citadel. As it stands, you have to scroll manually back to your base to TP. You can't even click on the map to go back to your base, nope...scroll and wait the second or two it takes to get back to a building (in the heat of battle, that 1 second can be the difference be
Honestly, I have yet to see anyone from Stardock or GPG even acknowledge that the bug exists. This leads me to believe one of two things; 1. Somehow they are just not seeing the countless threads being made about the bug that has existed ever since the game first hit beta (not a likely scenario). 2. They have been aware of the problem since before the first beta even hit but realized deep into the making of the game that it cannot be fixed so they see our thread
Not sure if this has been mentioned before, but it would be nice if the camera position remained at your settings throughout the match, rather than resetting to a zoomed in mode each time you die.
At least I'm not the only one who had this very annoying problem. Hopefully it will be fix soon.
I'm beginning to wonder if they can fix it. I've been playing since the early beta and this has been a well known issue that has yet to even be remotely resolved. I have a bad feeling it's just part of the game mechanics and therefor is unfixable short of GPG reprogramming the entire targeting routine (which

It seems gameranger isn't even attempting to fire up the game, it goes from joining game to returning from game instantly. Firewall is all set to allow, ports are open, checked in task manager processes when firing it up and Demigod.exe doesnt even appear. In GameRanger options its all aiming at the right .exe and folder etc. Version .93 trying to

Speaking of Modding, anybody know where the music is for this game? I modded Sins music, but can't even locate the music for DG.
It's on the collectors edition CD. :P
It's funny, I asked this same question just a few hours ago. http://forums.impulsedriven.com/348101 For the most likely answer.
I'm fully aware that the game is primarily multiplayer, but then I ran across this comment made by none other than Mr. Wardell himself. Demigod: The Single Player Game Yes, it's a big deal! By Frogboy Posted May 29, 2008 01:45:13 A lot of attention has been given to Demigod's multiplayer capabilities. I like to think that Demigod will be the Counterstrike of strategy games. But what about th
Often when I am starting a pantheon match (read: most matches) I hear the message "Player has left the game" and then there are nothing but bots from the get go. Am I just wasting my time playing the match, or does it still count as a ranked battle if I win/lose?
For the pantheon, it should be 1vs1 only. As it is, it is luck of the draw with what type of team mates you get. Sometimes you get newbs, sometimes you get good players, but to rely on random teaming for a tourny game isn't fair based on the skills of the individual. A 1vs1 would still work quite well and be fun. This is coming from a guy who has played over 15 matches and not lost, and I would still like to see a 1vs1.
Sound crackling/sound popping is a nasty glitch but I doubt that Demigod is responsible. There are many things that can cause such issues, and it is no surprise to me that Creative's sound cards are once again doing this (they have a history of it, sadly, although other cards and chipsets can have the same problem). The best you can hope for is tweaking your settings (CMSS 3D and all of that) to find something the reduces or eliminates th
Heard the game records replays, but I can't find any option to view the replays.
Apparently, I have -115 favor points even though I have yet to spend my favor points since creating my profile. I hope this is a known bug?
I didn't see any patch notes, and see no mention of what it corrects. Could somebody point me to the correct info?
They always seem to get their butts kicked and turn into nothing more than walking gold mines for the enemy, allowing them to easily purchase all the good stuff when I am still struggling to keep up. It would be nice if our AI allies were the same strength as the enemy. As it is, normal is too easy and hard is too hard.
Yeah, nothing is more annoying than nearly killing a demigod, only to have your character go braindead and attack some meaningless minion. GrrrRRR!!!!!!!!!!
For example; I tell my demigod to attack another, he starts doing so, but when the other demigod turns to run, mine stops attacking him and begins attacking some stupid nearby minion! WTF? Why don't they stay locked on the target you tell them too? I can understand if I was stunned or something, but this happens under all circumstances!
I'm not sure this is relevant, but in SupCom, I would get sound crackling when the cpu was being hammered to death i.e. loads of units and stuff going on that would push the cpu to its limits. Is your cpu above the miminum req?
I have a quad core
Alright, I still have the sound crackling issue that I demonstrated in the video clip I posted. It has lessened a lot since disabling reverb and putting sound quality to low, but it is still pops up from time to time (pun not intended).
Ok it seems turning the reverb off helped a lot. I'll continue to play and see if the static sound thingy comes back, but so far so good.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Eymb-Mb2834 I have another longer video clip processing, but you can hear the stuttering/static sound.
Your sound card may have a limited number of channels, as diablo5 mentioned above, try changing your audio settings in-game to "low fidelity audio", and toggle the reverb to "off". - Servo
I have a Soundblaster X-fi extreme music card if that means anything.
Never experience this, could you describe it and the circumstances more?
I'll do better than that, I'll post a link to my youtube clip once it processes. There were several other posts on this very issue early in the beta. The problem was never resolved for me (and for several others).
