Any word on the supposed "unique and special single player experience"?

I'm fully aware that the game is primarily multiplayer, but then I ran across this comment made by none other than Mr. Wardell himself.

A lot of attention has been given to Demigod's multiplayer capabilities. I like to think that Demigod will be the Counterstrike of strategy games.

But what about the single player experience?

Well, one of the big changes since Stardock and Gas Powered Games have teamed up is the single player game. Stardock takes single player games very very seriously. You could say it's our area of expertise.

In a couple of weeks, we hope to unveil here the single player concept. I think people will be pretty pleased as those who are worried that single player will merely be skirmishes or some scripted campaign need not worry. We have something really special and unique in development.

Yeah, it kind of got forgotten, I asked about it towards the end of beta and no-one even remembered they wanted to do something with single player.

 

I do remember that the game wasn't supposed to have any special SP offering at inception, rather it was a wish from Stardock's end that GPG do something with it. So I can't say I mind too much that the game didn't get any drastic changes part way, swapping lead dev's part way through and adding new ideas can lead to some badly mangled gameplay.

Its has the tournament for single player which is kind of like multiplayer for one person. I found it pretty different.

They just need to enable or explain modding and then we can start looking at improving the AI for single player.

Wow, I never head that about this game; I wonder if it's still in store for us, or it was axed.  Speaking of Modding, anybody know where the music is for this game?  I modded Sins music, but can't even locate the music for DG.

the single player is a joke. Also multiplayer is less interesting to me since 1on1 doesnt really make sense in this game and I'm a 1on1 rts player when it comes to multiplayer rts gaming. So I guess this game wasn't my thing in the end after all...

I think it has already been axed, no one from the dev mention about it anymore. Not that I really mind but single player make the game more memorable and valuable imo.
