Hello all. Does anyone have any thougths on this one? I'm running Vista Ultimate (32bit) on a Dell XPS 420 (Nvidia GeForce 8800GTX if it matters) with sp1 installed. LogonStudio does exactly what it should in terms of swaping the logon screen, but I then get other problems, which seem to based on scrambled file access permissions. I lose access to various vista control panels, most notably the Personalization pane but more problematically, windows update. All I get is

Sorry CarGuy1, yes, did mean your Future Earth, I log in late at night when memory and spelling are both iffy. I'll have to check to see if some of the software I use to convert DVDs into formats playable on my Palm TX might have installed an mpeg2 codec, it is distinctly possible.
