I`ll probably jump back online (haven`t been these busy days) once this reaches me. Sounds like a great creation, Frogboy - I know there is nothing like getting a game going with good players, and nothing like getting a game going with assinine ones... I`m still seemingly an Erebus guy. Just can`t seem to get things rolling with anybody else. Oh well.

Hmmm. From the look of things the street date has been pushed back to September 18th. We should get a demo before then though. Oh well - some time in Sept. is good.
Sounds different - I like him. Both of the new Demigods sound like fun to play. I hope we might see similar previews for new maps as well. Anyway, should be good.
Rook needs some care with A.I. ... his stutter behaviour needs to be purged. Rook A.I. and general pathfinding (units getting hung-up on map edges & corners) need patching.
Quoting Maff86, reply 177 this demigod costs 100,000$ and we get it for free. sponsored by stardock. at least wait until it's there before you rant it into the ground. --- Where information is from? The sum is too big i suppose. I'm pretty sure it was $10,000, not $100,000.
I believe it was $100,000 per Demigod. Maybe the process is more re
maybe with the rematch option, there could be a "Lobby" option also. That way if everyone agrees that they want to keep demis, options, map the same itll just start the game again (without being taken to the lobby). "Lobby" will obviously take everyone in the previous game bak to the lobby to change up a few things.
Thats an excellent idea...
I think players in a Tournament should be locked into whatever Demigod they chose when they first entered. Likewise therefore for any rematches that occur in a Tournament.
Sins Diplomacy? Cool. Be nice to hear/see something on that one; should be some pleasant surprises. Supreme Commander 2 has potential as well. Wish I could attend the PAX event. Oh well - this is the sort of thing multimedia is for (!)...
SEPTEMBER 11th . Majesty 2 is slated for release then... not far off at all.
I`d choose a Demigod whom you seem to do better with to some extent, just play that one for a time in A.I. matches on Hard. I love Erebus - he`s my kind of aggressive character. Queen Of Thorns I have a great deal of fun with, but I don`t seem to be very good at all with her... she`s tough to play perhaps. Nonetheless, different Demigods do have different attributes that will or will not mesh with your own instincts.
The thing that makes me angry(sorta). But these abilities are carbon copies of things from DotA. Theres no real change to make them different.
I have heard that DoTa has a gazillion playable characters. Therefore, inventing abilities without any parity to those found in DoTa might be impossible...
Had to check this out... can`t wait to try him. More! More! (grin)
I think victory should be achieved through the accomplishment of the victor rather than through the failure of the loser. The erratta of other suggestions at the end of my post is simply a list of other suggestions I`ve made from other threads; I still champion them (!).
... Track Favour by the Tournament/Pantheon, not overall... ... play a new Pantheon, no matter what character you pick, you start with ZERO Favour points...
12 tiers A win advances the victors one tier. Spending X Favour times the round number sends a designated player down a single tier. This occurs in between rounds. At the 12th round conclusion the two players with the highest placing in tiers face off in a 1-on-1 match to determine who ascends. Conquest mode always. This would work well in conjunction with a Save feature ala Sins Of A Solar Empire. Also, Favour points must be kept track of on a tourna
Termination A victor is declared if a single player garners 10 kills in a row - an unbroken streak. A variant on what is a natural progression lategame, once things have generally already been decided. New modes, new maps, new item lists (!), new Demigods for freshness. (new music too)
If we were in person I would exert effort to make the case 'for'. As I would also regarding dynamic randomized Item lists. But we aren`t, and I have some other things to attend to. I regret you do not understand the wisdom of such an idea, irrespective of team play. However...
I support this idea. Prevents good players from leaning so heavily on gains from less experienced players. They still benefit of course, but the boon is gradually tilted to be less of an exploit.
Apparently Majesty 2 went into Russian regional beta testing about a week-and-a-half ago. This game I would *not* participate in the beta test in, even if it was open to non-Russians. Kind of like that for the second Sins expansion, or a Demigod sequel - sometimes you just want to be surprised. Its time for surprise. (ditto for Supreme Commander 2, btw)
"Impulse Goo?" That some kind of sex aid? (eyes roll)
The original Majesty Gold Edition available on Impulse eh? Good... nice to see this classic made available once more. I can`t help but think Majesty 2 couldn`t be far off, release-wise.
Some new maps should be made for 1 on 1 play. Then, every final single-player tournament battle should consist of the two top-ranked Demigods, mano-a-mano. Much more climactic, quite sensible. Singleplayer should be enhanced/boosted/added to in some substantial manner, in DLC updates.
