Horrible news, Mike. The best of luck in finding a new place.

Sed's first submission at WC . . . So that's where it all began. Thanks for posting it.
The best of luck to you, Wiz. Get well soon.
Happy Birthday from me too.
I hope that things turn around for you, Jim. Just one blow after another.
For the musicians here on WC that record using a DAW, now is the time to get a deal on some plugins at Plugin Boutique. http://www.pluginboutique.com/ There are many on sale, but 4 of them caught my attention due to the combination of price and sound quality. My favourite is DB-33, a Hammond organ/Leslie combination, because I have the real thing (a BC from 1938, and a 251 Leslie), and I love the sound of a Hammond. This emula
Former hard rock singer Sed is now officially one year older today. He is going to dust off his microphone and P.A. system and sing a lullaby. The mayor of Cleveland has announced that the city will be in a lockdown for the rest of the day. The rumour is that this is his 117th birthday, so that would probably make him the oldest skinner on WC. Please join me in wishing the man of many wallpapers a very happy birthday.
Horrible news, Wiz. I hope that it helps a bit knowing that everybody on WC supports you.
I'm sorry to hear that , Paul. Hopefully 2017 will be a better year for you. You have the Australian Grand Prix coming up pretty soon, don't you?
sViz, on this day, just like every other year, is having her birthday. For those that don't know her, she is a Master here at WinCustomize, mainly due to her work on DesktopX, a program that is no longer supported. She has also contributed to the forums here, writing a series of interviews with other DesktopX skinners, and helping others make use of DX as well as writing some of the scripts that enabled other artists to use DX. If that isn't enough, she has also writte
I'm using 2.0 on Windows 7. It is not supported on Windows 10, although some people have said that it works for them if I remember correctly. If you open the Non-Tabbed, Tabbed, etc. folders, you can pick an example and see the image file to give you an idea of which of the folders is right for your extracted files. Tiles are a one-icon only dock; if you have several shortcuts and use tiles, each shortcut has
As Jaroepz said, C:\Program Files (x86)\Stardock\ObjectDock\Backgrounds is where you will find/put Tabs, Tiles and Zoomers. If you open the Backgrounds folder, you will see the folders. If you open the Tabs folder, you will see folders for the various tabbed docks. If you use "Configure ObjectDock" to change the background, that's where it goes to find the new background. Sometimes you get the backgrounds in a zip file, and you have to unzip it and pla
It's a sad day when a pet dies.
Jim, any new developments? They are up to $1265 now on the GoFundMe page.
Congratulations for your 15 years of service to the world of skinning. It's good to see that some people have hung in for so long.
They have reached $900 of the $5,000 goal on the GoFundMe page.
From time to time, I've wondered how she was doing. I remember first finding about her from her Green N' Gold icons, her first skinning project, if I remember correctly. She went a long way after that, and very quickly. I was disappointed when she quit skinning. I had no idea that she was sick. Jim, I hope that you'll let her know that everyone wishes her the best.
The address I posted is not Craig's. I have received three of them, all from different addresses. One of them led to a virus (which I discovered by doing a bit of research rather than clicking on the link). The link in the new email goes to a different address than the one I posted.
I have received a third email claiming to be from Craig Oman. It looks like an old hack; lots of WC members on the list of recipients with what are probably out of date email addresses. Here is the list of recipients: Tara J Kenny drssj Blair Dubak Rick Guidelli Betty F2 Seth S Johnston Karen Lowe Rob C
It's a beauty, Jim. It's good to see some DesktopX skins again. It's too bad that the program is no longer supported.
Happy Birthday.
I've been lucky so far (and cautious). Some phony ones that claim to be from PayPal, eBay and banks look pretty convincing graphically, but I look up the message source and do a search on the email address. I got one from "eBay" once that had some correct information about an auction I participated in, but I checked the address and determined that it was fake, and reported it to eBay.
I received an email titled Craig Oman (if I remember correctly). It was from a German domain (.de). I was suspicious, so I did a search and came up with the information in the link. The email was sent to at least several members of WinCustomize; PuterDudeJim, Paul (probably Jafo), probably DrJBHL and maybe a few others that I didn't recognize. The threat in the link is called JS/Redir according to scumware.org, and apparently is a virus that can cause a bro
If you work with high resolution multitrack audio files (or UltraHD video), they are almost necessary. It doesn't take very long to use up a terabyte for recording audio; video would be even worse.
This is great. I consider IconPackager to be an essential companion to WindowBlinds, and I, like a lot of other people, I suspect, have been worried for a long time that it had bit the dust like a lot of other Stardock products. So, thank you very much indeed.
