My installation actually goes back to 2003! Still running lean & mean as well, throughout all of the service packs and patches...not to mention several versions of WindowBlinds and a few mobo/CPU upgrades. I'm actually reluctant to start over since there's so much on there, but will likely build a new system later in the year with Windows 7 (assuming it actually comes out). Whew!
Congrats! Remember "The 12 Sins of Wallpapers" over at skinz.org? LOL good times. Watch out for that lens flare.

Wow! What a great flashback. I began using WindowBlinds at version 3 and to see the progression of skin technology and quality has been a great ride. Used Dangeruss' Thredz icons for a LONG time and still think they rock even today :)
I already own a few suites as well, but would happily buy this one given the chance :)

Agreed, Tryzub, poking around in the step.rc file was great fun back in the day, always good to meet others who were around back in the skinz.org days, too You HAVE to remember the 12 Deadly Sins of wallpapering, right? Something like flames, tearing, lens flare, etc. all on one wallpaper and completely despised by Shoggot

Awesome read, Jafo! Many fond memories of LiteStep...one of the things I liked was that you could make the pop-out menus look cool by adding a long background image. hahaha I remember CRUMBUT. Wasn't he big in the Litestep community back then? Been awhile. I think skinz.org also had WB skins by him. Those were the days, laddies...our tweaking and fiddling with Windows' appearance caught the attention of Microsoft, who attempted to one-up WB with "themes" in XP. LOL.
lol oh man...I remember wanting to skin Win95 from its earliest, ugly incarnation and eventually trying WindowBlinds back then. It's come a long way, and having followed Stardock from its earliest days, I trust and support them more than any other company because they've always been straight-shooters with the community.
