What's funny for me is hearing younger folks complain about their Internet connection speed. "I'm only getting 5MB down and 1MB up! This sucks!" Egads. I'm sure many of you will recall the days of 110 & 300 baud (6.95/hour on CompuServe), when having a 1200 or 2400 modem meant you were FILTHY RICH and could pay the 12.95/hour rate

Looking good! I haven't clicked around in there too much, but my initial reaction as a designer myself was positive. I like it, keep up the good work.
+ Reversed direction of the moon revolution (yes, Earth's moon now rotates around the Earth the right way) It's details like this that convinced me to finally buy the thing, something I should've done a LONG time ago. N00b time...but I'm glad I'm starting out with 1.3 You guys rock
I'm having the same problem. Picked up the game from Fry's Electronics in Tempe, AZ today and after installing it (box and CD's were sealed) I can't register. I've sent an e-mail to Stardock support but it's a holiday weekend, which likely means I'm SOL until next week. Dammit.

Awesome. I've got entire sets of sounds from Ace Ventura and Dumb & Dumber that were painstakingly added via the default Windows sound app so this will be MUCH better
I've had to go back and replace individual icons as well, even though the previous config was working fine. Plus I keep LOSING ICONS everywhere and have to go BACK and fix them yet again...getting a bit frustrated here.

Well I can sort of relate. I felt like punching a wall awhile back as well, my mom was going through some bad alcoholic spells and it also felt like I was taking care of a kid. I went home one weekend and spent the whole time cleaning up the house and making sure she didn't sneak any drinks in while I was there. Fun stuff. Ack! They look great, but I hope they leave previous versions intact...I kind of like the charm of Minesweeper and Solitaire (Freecell too), they way they looked from the 3.1 days. Still play them, too

Looking good! I didn't play the first one, but as an old-school gamer I might finally have to take a crack at the new version when it ships...it sort of has that early 90's Amiga/Atari ST feel yet is very complex.
I've got a wallpaper that somebody submitted to skinz that has all 12 sins, somewhere...I'll have to find it! Still makes me laugh...
hahaha I remember most of those, used to frequent skinz quite often. Anyone remember "The 12 Deadly Sins"? Something like lens flare, fire, swirls, etc. Quite funny

LOL...well I got some firsthand experience with that in the Air Force in the early 90's, where they taught us not only punch cards but paper tape. They were still using it! Never dropped a stack of cards, fortunately
Thanks for the link, a great read! I grew up with the Apple II and Atari computers and finally Windows 3.0, and love reading about the histories of machines and software we're using today. It must've been quite an experience to be a programmer back then!
