lol. use E-85 fuel, it's good for the envirionment.
The pirates, in my opinion, should be like mercenaries that you can hire. Say you want them to attack an enemy's trade routes. The ships would be unmarked, so the enemy couldn't attack the pirate planet directly. So the enemy would be forced to protect the transports or just leave the transports to die.
incredibly good idea. I also think instead of blowing up trade routes, pirates should instead steal, which is what they do best. After a pirate boards a trade shi
to cherish every moment because you are lucky to be alive? to enjoy what you have? to make the best out of every situation! I have to stop thinking so hard. or start thinking harder... I'm not good at self reflection.
my meaning of life is...... it is........ ummmm......... uhhh...... ..... errr......... heck, I don't know! The meaning of life is to get the most out of it? oh, yeah, Dr. House is cool.
there seems to be something wrong with my computer when it runs galciv2, so I may not be able to submit a game, but I will try.
ok, it works like this. I'm running my super dooper empire as usual and the cursor starts to blink very rapidly. then I try to save but it won't even though it says it did. so I hit ctrl+alt+del to see what going on and there's a message saying that some file can't run, or some file isn't there, or something isn't an actual image... help plz! Edit: it happens at random occasions, but is becoming incresingly freaquent.
Hello kay133 (notice I called you by your full ~name~, instead of just kay like those other hitchhikers! ) Anyway, welcome to the hitchhikers of the galaxy, where you can see the most beautiful sights in the galaxy, all for under 25 altarian credits!
Maybe it would be more fun if the pirates were a bit smarter, or programed better. for instance, instead of only praying on trade routes, they could hang about galactic resources until an unprotected constructor arrives. or hide in asteriod fields until a miner arrives. I also think there should be more pirates than just 1 fleet at a time. So instead of making pirates an event, make them a constant nuisance. PS- I don't know if the devs did anything with pirates in DA,
It sounds cool, like the jump missiles in colony wars 2, I like those. To get these massively cool and powerful missiles to work, there will have to be some penalty so the game doesn't turn into just shooting interplanetary missiles at each other. So for them to work, I'd say the best penalty is using up a very large number of squares on the planet you build them on. First you'll need to build the missile luancher/silo, where you will luanch the missiles from, then a storage fa
*cough* Ahem... TEAM D WILL CONQUER YOU ALL!!!!!
maybe you should clean your towel then!
ST: Birth of the Federation, another 4x space game, had stable wormholes. The AI didnt use it very effectively most of the time, but once in a while they would surprise you and a massive Klingon fleet could show up on your doorstep!
Ding Dong! Ding Dong! Ding Dong! Nobody's home!
*weeps because of firebenders clever comeback*
hey fire, howabout I start a propaganda thread for the hitchhikers? I'll use your speech and then take all the credit for it!!! Good idea! But it wouldn't kill you you to include my name. <IMG id=ImageResize_Image_1 src="smiles/BigSmile.gif" onload=ImageResizer.createOn(this); align=absMiddle border=0 tries
did anyone read my post up there!?!? since you can fit an infinate # of ships inside one parsec at any one time, lets just say that when you build one, transport, you build about ten or twelve of them. Like the landing ships in star wars, you never see just one come down and then take over the entire planet!
Has anyone noticed the bum lying around in the modding area? just thought I'd tell you before he goes to the gametalk area and starts stealing all the rum! Sorry I guess i should go home then eh? <IMG id=ImageResize_Image_17 src="smiles/Laugh.gif" onload=ImageResizer.createOn(this); align=abs
As a sidenote: Hitchhikers need to be more active at the core.
yeah, I haven't been there 4ever.
weren't we talking about invasions?
I didn't say that ALL smart people were that way. And, god, has anyone noticed that disgusting smell in the bug report area?!?!?
Military starbases: Try to place these inside important star systems or between you and your enemy. They give your ships in their area of effect all kinds of bonuses, like extra attack or defense stats, faster repair, faster ships, slower enemies... etc. Economic starbases: Try to place these inside important starsystems also, especially if the planets need the bonuses... Also try to place them around major trade route intersection areas (your trade routes!). Influence starbase
Beleive it or not, I have already made a similar permanent wormhole thread (with less word of course ). I think it's called "idea: permanent wormholes". anyway, most of the stuff going on here has already been discussed in the thread I mentioned. If you want to discuss wormholes without doing all the stuff I did all over again, go [link="https://forums.galciv2.com/?forumid=348&aid=157721#1331675"]HERE[/link], thank you
I think the problem is that there are too many smart people who play galciv2 and use the forums! (Smart people are less gulible and more secular, they question things)
