Thanks boss for the reply again. yes i am using XP on my Vaio. and i already tried uninstall and reinstall, still the same thing... i do think maybe something is wrong with my laptop. if there are corrupted files, how do i get rid of them?

ok i tried a few things and restored the default logon and everything is fine now. But i still cannot install the logonxp file. still the same error message: Value Creation Failed at line 18. what does that mean?
i am really new to this. i fould a logon that i like so i downloaded and installed LogonStudio on my Vaio. but then i couldnt get the logon to work properly, an error message pop up and said something like: installation failed at line 18. without knowing anything else to try, I just quit.
