ok i tried a few things and restored the default logon and everything is fine now. But i still cannot install the logonxp file. still the same error message: Value Creation Failed at line 18. what does that mean?

Do the logons that came with LS work? What logon are you having problems with. Depending on the type of logon, line 18 may refer to a problem with bmp 112. If other logons work but not that one, there is probably something wrong with the logon itself.
If you can give a bit more info, I'll check it out. And leave the name of the logon with the line 18 error and I'll take a look at it.

Whatever you do...dont try bootskin!..LoL...

Try changing your Logon to a differnt one..that should cure the booting issue..then get with Boss, he will be able to figure it out...

hi, thank you so much for the replies!

DZ, i already got the booting thing working (just restored the default logon actually )

Boss, i did not try the logon that came with LS yesterday, but i did just now and it did not work either. this time the error message is: Value Creation failed at line 365.

i am not good with computers. other than that i dont know what info you guys need to figure this out. if you let me know what info u need, i can dig it out.

Thanks!

FreeSag, do you have Windows XP? The errors you're getting seem to be computer related, not with Logon Studio or the logons themselves. If you do have XP, I would try restore your default logon, uninstall Logon Studio and then reinstall. You may have a corrupted file. Other than that, I'm out of ideas with the info I have from you. Good Luck!
