Actually while I am thinking about it a City level up sound would be great to, mabey a fanfare like sound effect. And it needs to be a SFX not a music thing. While I know alot of people like game music, alot of us (me at least) hate game music and it is the first thing that gets turned off, Even before I change the aspect ratio. Also while on the subject, and turn notification splash screen like the one in MoO2 would beawesome. I know you guys love your little GC empir

ONLY BEING ABLE TO BUILD 1 GARDEN IS DRIVING ME UP A WALL!!!! huff huff huff... okay got that out of my system... To start with I can completely see and agree with the new only 1 of a given building approach. It forces the players to think about what they are building and requires strategic choices. I can completely get behind this. Right up to the point where you can only have 1 garden.. From m

Well Garden Revival isn't cosmetic. I built a farm on mine. Granted yeah it CTD'ed me right after. Yeah they are fluff, yeah I will never use them. But meh they are pretty and they will appease those who like that stuff without taking anything away from those of us who don't.

Cast both the +RP and +Mat spell on my city. Then could not figure out how to see if they were working. obviously one was becuase of the sparkelies. But don't know if both took, the second cancelled the first out or what happened. So think we need a spot on the UI when we have a city selected that lists which city buffs are in effect. Least I hope we need one and I just haven't missed it like a stooge.

Is there someway when we click the little sheild to start ejecting troops from a city that we can hold down shift or tab or something to select more than a single unit at a time. Having to select each unit, hit eject, rinse and repeat is kinda obnoxius.

Used a pioneer to grab a far a way fire crystal, two things I noticed. 1. It never looked like it finished constructing (even fifty turns later) and yeah this is probably a graphical bug but leads into #2 2. I couldn't find anywhere where it told me how long it would/should/was taking to build the improvement. Granted this might have been because of the graphical bug and it was already technicly already built so i could no longer see it. But if something like that isn't in it

Mabey it is just me, but I tend to generally miss when my spell point research bar fills up. Especially with it starting at 15 and getting 2-3 points a turn, Mabey some kind of sound when it fills to max so you know when to spend it. Or the ability to select a spell research topic like the tech tree and when it completes it tells you. Or mabey a "Stop being an idiot and pay more attention" response [e digicons]:O[/e] lol But a suggestion.

From a personal veiwpoint if buff spells don't require upkeep, then buff spells "BECOME" mandatory. It is one thing if you want a tradeoff of my personal power (Buffs) vs more magical power. But if there is no form of upkeep on buffs, then it becomes a one sided no brainer. If someone wants to have a unit running around with stoneskin, flying, haste, fire breath, extra claws, extra damage, fire immunity, ice immunity, spell immunity and yadda yadda. there needs to be some form of buil

Completed it twive and not sure exactly what it was supposed to do after I select wisdom or tomb, tried both responses. But neither did anything I was aware of. And on top of that I have no clue reading the text what Tomb or wisdom responses are referring to.
XeronX: Just remember, in your build, magic and adventure and diplomacy are disabled. There are alternatives to hunting around for fertile food. Also, in Elemental, dropping a city isn't necessarily the best idea. The game is about your character, not your cities.
Well I am willing to take it on faith that will be the case come release. But a little more explanation as to why would be greatly appreciated
Hi XeronX. It's a balance, but your food output and city size is also a factor, with housing. If you don't have enough housing you will stay stuck at 10. You can also learn tech's that will enhance your food options, such as Apiarys for the bee hives, and other stuff for Wild Game, and the actual Farming of Fertile land. You can also go to my blog, and watch my video's on how I got cities larger. http://g

Alright cool ty Froggy. So it is set up that way., I'll have to admit I am sure I am a big fan of that (like I said that could be gamebreaking for me personally) but I won't sit here a scream that you are all wrong lol. But the idea of having to hunt around beyodg mabey the first 4 turns for an ideal city location irks me. It just really goes against my ingrained nature of not losing time on my cities. Even in MoM or Civ games if it took me more than 5 turns to drop a city I

Alright I have done my damnedest to figure this one out and have pretty much stopped beta'ing in frustration. But when I build a city it is only allowing a single garden. Now outside the obvious level up civ tech to an unreasonable level to refine farming enough times or having to build where I can build a farm. How the hell do you get a city past level 2 with only being able to build a single garden. Am I missing a patently obvious thing like an idiot or is that t

Just some random thoughts of mine. Every post I am reading has people assuming you need cities to claim resources. but those of us who have played Beta 1 know thats not true, we have pioneers. Of course the problem with pioneers is that when they claim a resource they only produce at half efficiency and of course defending this wayward outposts is kinda brutal. So my suggestion is the way to fight city spam isn't to make pioneers less effeicient but more effecie
I might be over analyzing this but Lake Gandru doesn't seem that realistic. It has two rivers leaving it both of which go to the sea and on opposite sides of the continent. Water flows down hill and takes the first available opening so which ever river exit was lower would take precedent except maybe in times of heavy rains when the lake rises enough to poor into the 2nd river. I'm not that familiar with every lake/river in the world

But it does matter. These are the same guys that are screaming foul about others treading on their rights to their IP. And they are doing the exact same thing to the new guys, just in a legal (and more disgusting) way because they place it in the fine print and don't just come out and say it. Granted your own damn fault for not understanding what you are getting into. But that doesn't change the fact that legal jargon is dileberately confusing and deceptive for that very reason. Coi
BTW....don't contradict yourself so painfully re the shooting the 18 year old rapist....and...."when did it ever become acceptable to take it out on others for bad things that happened to you by someone else." The shooting of the rapist, no matter how entertaining and 'apt' is actually illegal....
Actually I don't beleive I was contradicting (while I can see how that could be construed)
