I thought the Emperor dissolved the Galactic Senate shortly after the arrest of Senator Leia Organa of Alderaan.
I did. Sadly no one seems to listen to me anymore. Oh well, time for executions :D

I personally don't like the smugness that is currently generating out of GE. Even in an event like this they couldn't help but brag about how good they are.

Me, and the Empire of Me, is outraged at this very undemocratic turn of events. As such I am resigning from this senate unofficially until the following demands are met. Demands: 1) Big Statue of Me 2) The Senate give into to any further demands I come up with at a later time.

I'm not talking about some new organization. The MVL won't be a representation of the community, but it will be a public forum for the community to discuss new undertaking. I mean anyone can post in the MVL thread to suggest things or whatever else. There will be no restrictions.

Following Proposal 1, the MVC already had those things. They weren't well publisized, but we tried our best to include as many people as we needed to reprsent the community. I personally think that another Council wouldn't accomplish anything new, and would just take another 1-2 months debating how to set itself up(as we did). Sure some of the organization did help us, but in the end it also lead to us slowing down. The Council needed maintanance to keep itself opperational, and eventually ther

I know you didn't, I felt it justified to say that we were not just hot air and beurocracy, a lot of time(and reading) was invested into the MVC. That would be a good thing to do. I don't know how many Councilors you may reach, but I can give you a list of them if it will help. I will also make a post about it in our MVL topic. In all I wouldn't expect a hasty response from us, but I am sure that no one on the Council will appose the set up of a new community initiative. Of cou

As a newcomer to this 'senate', I do lawfully declare it to be one of the weirdest democraticly operating bodies to date. With that statement I elect myself president with um... the backing of the Natinal Rifle Association, which was kind enough to give me this gun. Oh btw. Gun > sword :P

As the MVC I think the community did accomplish as much as it could in the time being. In the end, though, we fell to inactivity. The conversations dwindled and in the end it was basicly just me and Mumble, and sometimes someone else. It was sad to see it go, but any revival could possibly be benificial. The main thing here is to consider more community activity based around the AltMeta and the MVL. But to consider any changes with the Altmeta we would need Kryo's help

Ahh, I don't know about the control part. With these fake council running around, you can't really expect what will happen next. Still, its nice to see conversation going on, at least we can say the community isnt dead.

This seems like the best community actions so far in Sins. Though, I am quite certain once this catches on, it will run into problems Its best to lay some ground rules, and have a person or two to enforce them.
