I've not read the list of asks from people above for 1.2 -- but I want to add a (hopefully) simple one. When I select a ship or fleet or ships, the display shows me the attack for all weapon types, defense for all weapon types, and the hitpoints cumulative. The problem is that while my ships are within my military starbase field of influence, they are obviously much better offensively and defensively. I'd like to see the numbers show what numbers ar

Are you sure they require defenses to get the boost? It doesn't say "+30%" for the boosts, it says "+3" for the defense assist. I have some fleets where the ships themselves only have missile defense , but when my ships are within my starbase range, they show up as having defense against mass drivers and beam, as well as boosts to the missile defense.

Regarding #1: sometimes a ship will jump into your sensor range and then because it's moving quite fast, jump out of it. It's nice to have a zoomed out view on the map that shows the ship moving. It might tell you something about where it's headed. I used this to track down an enemy ship and kill it. He skirted along the edges of my sensors and I was able to catch up to him.

Does this mean you can win a diplomatic victory even if some of your "allies" are at war with each other? This is interesting, because I had a game with the Drengin, Arceans, and I think the Yor left, and I was allied with the Yor and Arceans, and the Drengins were fighting both of them, but my relations with the Drengin were "warm".
