Getting the first priest idol is a great way to keep Erebus up towards the start of the game. That and a few mana potions will let you rack up some easy kills in 1v1 situations. Just be careful when Sedna or twin Rooks come out and you should be fine.

More importantly, stop letting the bots on your side die too much by holding their hand.
I really love the Vasari announcer voices... Our ships have left phhhaaaaaasssse space. Planet development come-plete! And my absolute faovrite: Searching a planet has NOT FOUND ANYTHING!!
Umm k. Was expecting a video since it was in Dev Journals section....
Yeah, weird... I was totally exepcting something from a dev that could be akin to a tutorial, or a bit more depth into a certain part of the game (like, maybe some environmental notes or something). Anyways, to the OP, I'm glad that you stuck with it! I only got Demigod yesterday (even though I've been following it for a while)
That review really brings up something special about the gaming industry; when developer and publisher go hand-in-hand to get a really awesome product going. If only the rest of the industry could take heed to this monumental success, then we could get some polished games that really work well!
It's also very useful at the beginning of a game when you accidentally colonize something before you have enough resources to build enough res. upgrades to reduce underdevelopment tax. In this way, you can abandon the colony and save from paying those taxes.
Well, as of Patch 1.4, I believe the Embargo skill no longer stacks up to the ridiculous numbers it used to give; so the construction delays should be a minor haggle as opposed to a serious consequence. Still, early on, you really want to get that Sova carrier out of the way before your lack of income destroys your military spending power. Early on, the best way to handle cap ship rushes on your home world would be to construct 1-2 hangers and stuff them with bombers. You'll also need f
I was not sure if I should have posted this issue in this forum, but I've noticed something strange coming up when I start a game up (either single or multi- player, doesn't matter) using the small map called Gaian Crescent; your home world is not a Capital Planet. The allegiance of said planet was 25%, really slowing down the game from the get-go (oh, and it had no Planetary Upgrades whatsoever, even though it still had the two constructors and Frigate Factory outside). Of all the maps I
