[quote who="feelotraveller" reply="26" id="3118325"](With a 9 tile city we will still get 3 tile teleportation... Leads me to suggest that perhaps a 0-tile city would be the best, strictly on this account. Have an icon marking a city in a tile but require units once they are already in that tile to 'enter city' as a separate move - like entering a cave. This is the only way we will get rid of teleportation if it is not addressed separately. Gives the added advantage of making sieges t

It seems I remember combat being like DA:O in that it went full speed, but you could pause to set your characters to do their thing, and then let them have at it until you wanted to pause to change tactics or cast a spell or whatever.

Don't forget a 5 grain city when looking at city details may not actually have started as a 5 grain city. If a bakery was built, it would have increased from 4 to 5 in the city details. Plus if any food resources were linked to that city (by being closest to that city) that would also have made it a larger number.

You know damn well facts and logic have no place in an internet discussion! Besides, you probably just did some multi-threaded worm-holing time travel shenanigans to place those comments back in time! And please, no one tell Captain O'Hagen I said "shenanigans", I don't wanna get pistol-whipped.

I wouldn't mind seeing a straight out combine. Say 2 groups of same size combine to make 1 group of next higher group size. Exp stays at the lower of the 2 combined units. Sure you are losing some guys this way, but it does let you keep some of your hard work.

About the city specialization? That a city on the main map would be 1 tile and would "grow" a little bit based on what level and specialization it was but the improvements would be built on a separate screen ala Civ. You could look at your pretty city in the city build window but on

Here is a bug that has been going on for a while. I just kept forgetting to make a post about it. When you first finish completing a unit, or for that matter finish hiring a new hero, unless you specifically click on it, the auto end turn skips having you move that unit for that turn. Not exactly a game-breaking bug, but definitely one I'd like to see fixed.
