Beautiful case study you have here. Did you try a couple auto-resolves also to see if you got different results, just in case there was a critical hit or something else that may have thrown off your results a bit?
That list is nowhere near inclusive. Even as I play Im seeing things I forgot in the changelog or I trimmed to quickly. The internal changelog was 270 pages with the technical details, I cut it down to the above 20 pages (without pictures).
LOL, damn! That is great to hear. I'm imagining much smoother game play already.
+ Impulsive requires Path of the Assassin Game is now ready to go Gold.
Agreed, impulsive being Assassin only really balances out what was a somewhat overpowered trait.
Read through that impressive list, have a question: (hope I'm not a dummy and missed it in there) Did initiative get fixed? (where casting haste or slow on one unit, resets the whole initiative list) On a somewhat related note, is that list of bug fixes all inclusive, or just a list of the major fixes? Either way, looks like some awesome changes and I can't wait to give this a try!
When a spell takes multiple turns to cast, the player stays locked (can't do anything with him while casting). Also, the spell will show up in the turn list (showing you where your character spent his turn still casting). In this case, you cast a summon, then the next turn you get to move the same character again. The summon never fires off. If you cast the summon again, it will work again.
ath of the Assassin gives +1 crit chance per level and +50% to crit damage. It unlocks traits that mess with critical chance, initiative and dodge mostly. Impulsive (getting to go first in combat) is an assassin trait now. Acrobat, dodge, vital strike, etc are all assassin abilities. But the most defining thing about the Assassin path is that it doesn't give an increase to weight capacity like Path of the Warrior and Defender d
I've had this happen a couple times. Usually has meant the game I was playing got bugged. Have you tried a new game to see if it works?

If you are asking if E:FE needs E:WoM installed to run, then no. If you are asking just for preference, I had it installed up until I was sure E:FE had definitely surpassed E:WoM. Deleted it from all my computers at that point.
I voted for no outlines as I prefer that aesthetically, but as most people are agreeing, I definitely would rather have the choice.
i just joined the beta and was wondering if there's any list (here or elsewhere) of what's been improved from E:WOM. it's been a while since i played E:WOM and i must confess, FE feels pretty similar. i know there's much being done under the covers that's different now and i'd love to know what to look for. i'd also be keen on you veterens' take on the best new bits.
So... they removed the ability to have children and marry them off in FE? I don't have the Beta and I am completely in the dark about what they have changed but if they removed the dynasty system I am not sure if I will continue to play.
Yep, dynasty is gone, hasn't been in any of the betas.

Hopefully it's just a placeholder system until they can get the values balanced a bit.
I disagree a bit. I can totally see having a - for both. Otherwise just cranking strength up gets rid of all initiative penalties for heavy armor. And no matter how strong you are, heavy armor should sti

It's a good question. Guess you'd have to monitor each units XP before and after battle to find out. Sure would be preferable to see the end result in the end of battle wrap-up window though. Also, isn't higher Intelligence supposed to give more exp as well. I'd like to see that also figured in the end of battle wrap up. I'm guessing it is working fine, but just one of those small details that has yet to be ironed out for final release.

You want to write up the basic goals for whatever you're working on, then make a very detailed list of what is required to get there. It's VERY important to know what your target is, otherwise you'll just be flailing around writing code or making changes without knowing if you're getting closer to your goal or further away. It seems stupidly obvious that you want to have some idea of what you're mak
