Marcathonas, I understand what you're saying about bloodlines. Most of my ancestors didn't come to America until the early 1900's. The only exceptions are my Irish ancestor that came here in the 1800's as an indentured servant and my Cherokee Great Grandmother. My French, German, and Dutch ancestors all came to the US about 100 years ago.

The only reason the Soviet Union and China were even on polite terms was because they shared a common threat, The United States. That was the whole point of the Korean and Vietnam wars. The US wanted to stop the spread of Socialism and China and Russia wanted to keep a buffer between us and them because they were concerned they would be next on our American agenda.

Marcathonas, like I told thegothikfaery I just got here a little bit ago. I didn't get the chance to read the thread today. You are right his original question and the whole point of the topic was finished within the first few pages, and most of that thread was the group of us socializing. I think alot of what Psycho said was out of hand before we all called it a night that first day. I don't know what he did or said today. I'm sure most of it was inappropriate. But I think alot of this could ha

thegothikfaery, you're right I just got here and I didn't see everything. I'm sorry that you were insulted. In all honesty I don't remember you saying anything to him that would have provoked him. But just about everyone else was keeping it going. If everyone would have stopped before it got out of hand it might not have got this far. Sometimes it's better to bite your tongue and ignore someone than to lash out. And while I like Marcathonas, Josh_88, and El Conquest they did help perpetuate t

I was involved in that thread too. But I think I came away pretty clean. I didn't feel anyone was being insulting toward me, nor was I insulting toward anyone else (at least I don't think so). I think the problem here is that people on both sides get frustrated because either the OP isn't clear on what he/she is trying to say or the commenters are paying attention to what the person is saying. I think both issues often happen at the same time. I read a post a while back where a poster

GC2 is constantly being improved by the devs. If it is something that can be easily fixed the devs will try to do so in a patch, if you can catch thier attention and present your case in a reasonable, polite manner. If it is a major fix like ship combat the best you can hope for is trying to get them to include it in the future expansion. They have been very understanding in the past and very eager to improve the game experience for everyone. Don't get discouraged other people have made the same

Yeah in the Korean we were fighting the Chinese as much as the North Koreans. That is why that war was never won. That is also why the DMZ (Demiliterized Zone) between North and South Korea is the most heavily guarded border in the world. It is also the location of on of the biggest minefields in the world and defended by almost the entire US Army 2nd Infantry Division. Also Vietnam was a similar situation except the Russians were supporting the North Vietmanese instead of China. The

I think the alignments reflect moral decisions in real life if you look at them from the right perspective. Here is an example of what I mean. You are in a music store looking for some new CDs. When you purchase your CDs you notice the cashier forgot to scan 2 of them. Good - You inform the cashier of the mistake and pay for the 2 CDs -40BC Nuetral - You thank the cashier and leave. +10 Morale Evil - Pay? I didn't wear this big coat for nothin'. +40 BC
