A couple of days off with Thunderbird and I must say it's great. No more signing in, no more www's to type. Just connect and Thunderbird. I'm still trying out the features in FF though, and I just got Opera a while ago. I'm gonna upload a screenshot of my desktop soon. Have a look! And again, thanks for all the invaluable information and i

Oh.. so instead of opening multiple instances of the browser I can have many pages in one browswer to select at a time...That's sound idea man. I didn't even knew it existed when I installed FF a while ago. Gotta really experiment with it now.

Mucho gracias, jester! I was about to log off. I'll check my mail later. Really pooped out - check my other post "Konfabulator". You'll know why. You never realize how useful tab browsing is until you CAN'T do it after being so used to it What exactly is tab browsing?

I give up. Thunderbird doesn't work as well. There must be something wrong with all the POPs and SMTPs. Someone please guide me: 1) I have several email accounts. One Yahoo!, one Hotmail, and soon a Gmail (thanks again jester) 2) What I want to do is to have Thunderbird to be the central "server" which receives mails from all these accounts so that I don't have to check them individually, and also for easier sorting purposes

Got Konfabulator yesterday. Works great but need some tips on getting it to be "Always on bottom" the way OD works, ie. not disappearing when I click "Show desktop". Any ideas? Oh, and by the way, I don't seem to be able to find Konfabulator stuff on this site... so I'm wondering if it's "legal" to talk about Konfabulator here, as well.

I am overwhelmed by all the different ideas. Anyhow, I have just finished reinstalling FF to give it a second try, and currently browsing sites for Opera and The Bat!. Got TB downloaded earlier. So many things to experiment with! pop-ups, ads and flash blocked IE blocks popups pretty w

Is there something wrong with my eyes or is there really a way to get multiple docks running at the same time, the way I see in screenshots? I can't seem to find that option anywhere.

I don't know, I've heard so much bad about IE6 but I've been using IE since I got my first internet connection (36.6k ) about 10 years ago. Well it was Netscape back then but just for a moment before I started IE. I've tried Opera and MoZilla but I didn't see much deviation in terms of performance and stability, so I'm just wondering what you guys have to say. <

Alright, I have these sounds that play whenever I right click for a rolldown menu, and when I select anything from the menu, or click on links, there's another sound that plays. Also, there is a short sound clip that I've set to play whenever I start windows. My problem is, the "click" sound (or menu command) is too loud, while the "Start Windows" and the menu popup sounds are too soft. So it goes like this: "popup..popup..popup... CLICK!!!!

is that Sisoft is reporting your MB correctly It should be correct, since the CPU temperature reported tallies with the one in BIOS (I couldn't find MB temperature in BIOS and therefore cannot make any comparison/confirmation) <TABLE cellpadding=8 width="95%" align=center bgColor=#FFF394 cl

Hello there. I return. ..with more questions of course.. 1) Will it be detrimental to my monitor if I constantly switch it on and off? The duration can be as short as a few minutes to as long as an entire day. 2) Using SiSoft Sandra, these are what my temperature sensors indicate: Board temperature: 64.5C / 148.1F CPU te
