Come to think of it, maybe not. I still have lots of skins to download. Have a nice day!
I can't take it anymore. I'm jumping off the 21st floor with WC strapped on my back.
Damn, I was beginning to regret posting this.
Sarcastic to the originator of that post, not to you The post with that rating dispute.
Gosh, this thread started in 2002 and it's still on! Love Thing by Joe Satriani- this guy is good.
Don't be fooled by the techy appearance and its name, WinCustomize. Beneath all those superb skins and beautiful wallpapers lies a very different community than many others in the web. Maybe I have not delved deep enough into the forums, but so far I have not seen any childish arguments and/or name-calling for that matter. I can say it's a good breather for me, because being a gamer, I constantly visit gaming forums which, unfortunately, are dominated
Damned downpour chased away all the mosquitoes - into my room.
Thanks everyone Very helpful info and advice. Corky, I have done according to your directions and I did see both HDDs there when I press Delete at startup, with the 80gig one as the primary and the latter the "slave" as I recall. A friend of mine is kind enough to let me try out his 100gig external HDD. To think that I am dubbed the "computer freak" amongst
One has had a broken fan for sometime now and is about to burn up at any sentence. Talking about good fans- do higher-end fans generate less noise? As it is, the computer sound like someone snoring (a bit of exaggeration here). Also, I've read (and seen) those liquid-cooling systems, which replaces
Hey there, I need some tips and clarification on these matters. Thanks in advance for your help. 1) Is it okay to leave my computer on for like, a couple of weeks? Will it shorten the lifespan of my hardware, especially the HDD, because it is constantly spinning? I live in Malaysia - the weather here is basically hot, about 30+ degrees outside.
I KNOW! I WILL EXPERIMENT ON IT ON MY LAPTOP! Why didn't I think of that sooner? Most of my important stuff is in the PC. Oh yes. Have a nice day!
Thanks a lot. I will try out this Partition Magic but chances are I will have to call the technician over (and lose some money ). Hope Partition Magic is user friendly. Fuzzy Logic knocked some sense back into me tho. I am quite excited over this Vista thing. Thanks for the help guys.
I am a little confused. Is there a "dual boot" option I can choose when I install? My hard drive is already partitioned (did it while installing XP). By the way, how do I choose to only reformat a partition? Each time I reformat, everything in the hard drive goes off. I don't really dare to meddle with this unless I am really sure of it. Oh, the pain of losing your data!
Hi guys. I currently have XP and am planning to get Vista. Thing is, if I install Vista and there are problems or I don't like it, will I be able to revert to XP without reformatting and losing all my data? I'm planning to have two OS's. Is there any way I can uninstall Vista? Second thing is, if there are no problems with it (ie with my programs and such) will I be able to remove XP and let Vista be the only OS in my system? I'm sorry if
It's done! Thank you so much guys! All I had to do was click "on desktop" and now it still shows when I click Show desktop. Thank you so much After my exams, I would love to learn how to make nice skins too.
Hi guys, I've just downloaded the Rainlendar. I installed it and everything is cool except for one thing.. It minimizes when I click "Show desktop". Is there any workaround to this? I would like it to stay visible on the desktop. I would have to maximize and minimize a window to get it to appear again. Thanks in advance.
