I haven’t written an article in so long it’s like I don’t know how to start (Okay I wrote one already this year but just go with it) <sp
I may just haul out the (34 year old) sewing machine and for the price of fabric and cording, solve my own cushion problem...
Sounds like the best idea yet.
If the economy is truly as scary as it seems, how can companies realistically think that anyone is going to give them their hard earned money and get so little in return?
Some companies treat their customers as well as monkeys in India treat patio cushions. ;)
Hey, Anthony, be prepared to change teams. Your beloved Mangini is now the head coach of the Cleveland Browns. At least, he has a better QB now.
It is great seeing some of the old bloggers back. That didn't sound right. What I mean is it's good to see some of the old veterans back. Shit, that doesn't sound right , either. It's great to see some familiar names back writing. There. Damn, I sound like President Bush. ;) Thanks for the mention.
Good luck on making it to 2100 though! I bet you have a solid shot!
Donna, you're NOT going to make it if you keep forgetting to pack water for lunch. :)
Looks like LaDainian Tomlinson is out for Sunday's game. Now being a Steelers fan you would think I would be happy but I'm not. Believe it or not, Sproles scares me more than LT.
I don't reply much to your posts but I do read them. They always consistently make me want to be a better writer, and to be more honest.
that same awkward phone call we always had: the one where neither of us likes talking on the phone but we find comfort in each other’s voice
That describes every one of my calls with my father. I love him dearly, and I need to call him. Thanks for this beautiful piece to remind me of both.
Dammit, I have to take this back. I just heard they've pulled out of touring here as they are becoming Jimmy Fallon's house band when he takes over from Conan O'Brien in February. What a fucking disappointment...
Say it isn't so? Please just let that be a rumor.
Nothing?! There must be something! Ask Rose, she will know!
Nothing, Donna. To show how bad it really is I'm the best thing to ever come to this city. :)
That said a lot for Ryan, not Kiffin.
Agreed. Considering who his father is (Buddy) and who else he learned under (Belichick) I'm surprised he hasn't been offered a head coaching job already.
Doc ,
Please do. I think he is busy on the Bunny slope.
Sent. It's crazy but it actually works. :) Donna ,
You know you got me started with that song didn't you?! Oh that guitar!....it's nice to see you writing again...now if only Rose would hop on the band wagon!
So are you tell me you would karaoke that song? If so let me know where and when. ;) I'll tell Rose you said to J
I think the only difference from an ordinary Monday and a Monday after a long holiday break is the number of zombies. Mostly everyone coming off a long holiday is going to be a zombie on that Monday. But with me I'm on a zombie every Monday. So the people who normally aren't zombies that become zombies because of the long break think I wasn't affected since I'm no different from any other Monday. They actually think I'm crazy and special. As in, "He's not mentally challenged he's spec
Kelly ,
I like to start my day with an olive in my dirty martini!
Now that's a way to start a day. Rose's birthday is in October, too. Some O words she finds pleasurable are Orange chicken and Oprah's O magazine. Doc ,
Send to me as well, please!
Did Roy send it to you? If not I could forward his instructions.
As for the article, I just made the same general statement on an
I don't think it's him. Lucas isn't Falgui Lucas is Dumbgui. ;) Seriously, I hope he has found a place more suited for him.
Another good one, Roy.
Heh, you’d a think there’d be nothin’ to it but getting’ your ass situated just so-so to mount up on that flimsy fucker without fumblin' your ski poles 'n shit is harder than it looks! And it never quits movin’ to wait on ya either! It…
You talking about the t-bar on the way to the BUNNY slope or you talking about what you said to the BUNNY back at the cabin? ;)
I imagine the dinosaurs were there Udig. It was just a really long time ago.
 I still don't think they would've came here. How that old saying go, "It isn't Hell but you can see it from here". ;)
I still have my doubts that the Chargers can run the table.
Well, they are definitely a hot team right now, and in a season with no great teams who knows? But still come on, Steelers!!!! ;)
There are many on your lists I haven't heard. The Kills, The Butterfly Effect, and The Eagles of Death Metal. I will try to listen to them, especially EoDM. My faves from your list are Beck, The Black Keys and The Roots. Unfortunately I missed Beck when he came here last year. What sucks even more is after the show he walked into a coffee house and played a whole set unannounced. I would have loved to been there. I don't know why but I always think of the Soledad Broth
Be careful what you wish for.
What I wish for? What am I wishing for?
I think firing Shell was a mistake, and firing Kiffin was a mistake. Firing SHanahan and Turner were the good moves.
I think firing Shell was a mistake but I'm glad he did. Art is a good coach and a better man and I hated seeing him go through the things he had to in his 2nd coaching tenure there. Some of the coaches he was force to hir
Yes, its true that Favre was intercepted a lot, but rewind to last season when Chad Pennington was intercepted much in the same way.
Yesterday Pennington had 4 interceptions and a fumble I hope that wasn't Mangini fault, too.
It's just you, Charles. You are missing alot. ;)
There were some dinosaur experiences in my city last year, we managed to catch that one and also the live experience, which I will share another time!
I really want to go see that but no way will it come around here. Nothing ever comes here. :)
Favre will retire.. then who will the Jet fans blame?
Rich Kotite?
