I know one thing.........I'd never want a daughter or granddaughter named Rosie or Roseanne.......
Really? Your hate for them has that much power over you? I'm betting if you really did have a granddaughter named Rosie or Roseanne the last thing she would do would remind you of those 2.
you know how you associate a name with a face? Say like.......... Adolph?
Kinda like this kid. <a href="http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,479904,
It is a no-win situation, at least for the bloke. I've had this 'discussion' numerous times over the years and, despite me pointing out your very valid point for consideration, I have not yet won a single round.
I have 4 brothers so in our family of 7 there was 6 males and we always kept the seat down. I think our mother taught it the same time she potty trained us. ;)
Great writing as always - I say if you don't collect these and turn them into a series
Thats brilliant Doc, you should become a contestant on Jeopardy! Only if I can sit on my couch at home and answer the questions!
I bet it's so much easier at home than really being up there with Trebek. :D

9. Thanks for this article, Donna. It made me smile.
The last response was what touched me the most, because this child hopes to pay it forward one day. I think more than anything else, learning to give of oneself, is priceless!
I see you got the best present of all. :)
I just try to talk to people like they're people and just be friendly. Somehow it seems to work despite my flaws. I'll never understand why people in general seem to like me as I am about as flawed as one can get.
I got news for you, Mason. We're all fucking flawed. Well, at least the good ones are IMO. How else do you think we improve?
The fact that someone as beautiful, and I mean that both physically and personality-wise, could like some piece of trash
New York had PLENTY of luck (and skill, and courage, and heroism) in regards to this plane crash, Charles. They probably had a bit of divine intervention as well, as this is the ONLY water landing involving an aircraft of that size in history that produced zero fatalities. Kudos to the captain and everyone involved in the rescue and recovery operation. Terrorism? If that's the first thing that comes to your mind
A very weird dream that has haunted me my entire life that supposedly contained a very important message that I can't remember. Talk about a mind fuck!
It's kinda disturbing. Did someone walk you or carry you outside? Do you think you could find answers under hypnosis?
Nah, I just think it was a little kid's dream and like many dreams the details may fade even if the feeling the dream inspired doesn't. I have to admit that it has always b

I love these little articles you write. They're like swimming at a pond at night. Only after jumping in do you realize how deep they really are. I remember when we had our pool I would lay there after work reading the newspaper, drinking some Captain on ice, and every now and then I would drift back or look back at my younger days. So it wasn't a "hand job" more of a wet dream. ;)

Tova,
Great dream. I like when I dream complete stories...which this article reminded me I did last night and even woke up thinking, damn that was a good story...but now in the bright light of day, can't remember it. Hate when that happens.
Thanks. I hate when it happens to me, too. I will have this great dream and it completely blows when I can't remember it completely.
