Don't cry, Doc, it's all in good fun.

She's a darling! Sounds like dad and big brothers are in trouble.
Congratulations! Welcome to a whole different world.
I love cats. If the apartment we moved to down here didn't a $300 pet deposit and an additional $40 per month rent for the pet, we'd still have our little calico. Sweetest little thing. Now, she's with my parents and their two toms. And she rules the roost.
In the linked article below, it seems that one of the Marines that Congresscritter Murtha bad mouthed when the Haditha events first came to light, took it personally. So personally, that he suing Congressman Murtha for libel and invasion of privacy. Even though the Marines haven't been charged yet ... scratch that. ESPECIALLY because the Marine's haven't be
Nice parody, Mason. Too bad, the Clueless Wonder missed the point ... And here's a funny thing about the heat - last summer (in VA at least) things were cooler and wetter than normal. This year, things are hotter and dryer than normal. Hmmm... could it be the simple idea that nature prefers a balance? Nah, global warming is causing it!
I know of several (good, personal friends of mine) that made a pilgramage to Jerusalem shortly after their 21st birthdays. One is still a resident of Tel Aviv. He is now an Israeli citizen and former (like they every really let you go) member of the IDF. So ... there's one. The other lives about 2 houses down from my old house in VA, so not all stay.
Hey, Tex - I wish I could take bad pictures like that ... mine are mostly used to scare away small animals and children. I came back from the DMV the last time I needed to change my license with a new picture (after we moved earlier this year). Lady asked me if I wanted to use the old one and all I said was, "Hell, no! Would you?" and showed her my old pic ... after she stopped laughing and could breath again, she gestured to the camera at t
ODL. That just had me laughing so hard my coworkers were looking at me funny ... from across the office. Good job taking care of the interlopers. And remind them that they can't have a DD. It's against garden law.
Notice - no mention of why there aren't any newer/more efficient refineries. No mention of why there aren't any alternative power source providers being built (or already in production). Just more strawman, basis pandering to his blessed polls. Would it help, COL, if I told you that I've SEEN a poll (helped review/test it after it was designed, as a matter of fact) that said that 85% of the people sampled thought the Sky was Purple and we sh
I see he did not answer! Maybe, he's busy. Or better yet. Maybe he's learned a lesson from you. Never answer a direct question. That's one you're teaching everyone around here. Including several posed for you on this very thread. Good teacher there, COL.
Copy/paste. Rinse/repeat. Is that all you can do? What about the polls that are posted that DON'T support your point-of-view, COL? Are they suddenly irrelevant? And from where I'm sitting, your claim I understand the system. is patently false. You don't understand the system
Stop me if you've heard this one before ... COL, Have you heard of this concept called "Checks and Balances"? It's this nifty little feature, built into the U.S. Constitution, whereby the Executive Branch (aka the LEADERS) run the country on a day to day basis, they EXECUTE the plans of the government. With me so far? This is the branch that you, supposedly, spent many years of your life working for. The second branch, the LEGISLAT
For example, if he wanted to make a difference in unnecessary spending he would have vetoed the bill that would have built a bridge in Alaska to an island were 50 people lived at a cost of $230 Million dollars If I remember right (and it's been a little so I could be off a little) that bridge was added
Hehe. My wife learned to play (initially) as a defensive mechanism ... if she wanted to spend time with me, she'd better learn to play (and like) the game. Sadly, now she's more addicted than I am ...
Pally's are over rated ... Shamandin, Lvl 60 Human Priest, Garona. 'course, since my wife plays a pally (Cyclona, Lvl 36, Garona) I have to put up with 'em.
I've always loved this song. And it's funny watching my daughter prance around the living room while singing along (word perfect and just a whisker off note perfect). She's a trip sometimes. I didn't know the history of it, though. And definitely fall under the
Wanted: Several (just wanted kids, no specified number/type) Have: 4 (3 boys and a girl, FINALLY!) Ages when born: 21, 24, 26, and 27.
don't worry about the Col, Chaos....if Bush was to stand up and say, "let's do all the Stem Cell Research we possibly can", Col would be complaining that Bush is doing genocide against Americans.... If you wanna know what the Col stands for, just find out the latest on Bush, then go the complete opposite.... </T
If there was ever an article that cemented the fact that you're nothing but a RINO, this would be it. Having said that, I applaud President Bush for having the balls to stand up for what he believes in, no matter how unpopular it might be. That takes more guts than most of his detractors want to give him credit for having.
Congradulations, Doc! Or is that "Here, have some sympathy". Been there, done that. Looking at my 33rd Natal Celebration come November. And if you're only as old as you feel? I'm fast approaching the century mark. Here's hoping it goes well!
Wow! ... Uhm, yeah. Wow! That gave me goose bumps while reading it, Gideon. Very well done!
Thanks, Davad. This just brings up one question - Why would the NYT run an article (not a news article, even) about something that's been publicly available for over 3.5 years? And spread it like it's something new? Are we supposed to believe that this is new tactics? From my POV, it makes perfect sense to use it. As matter of fact, I'd be out crowing about it. It's an excellent example of international cooperation in the fight
That's just adorable! Good job with that one. How long did it take you (start to finish)?
