I've seen a some people complain about ratings and I notice a lot of times they have an incredible amount of downloads for their skins. It's no different than movie reviews..the box office dollar/ticket sales is the final word. I wish I had half the downloads some people do here.. Maybe what we need is a Petition to petition the community to petition the admin's to do a study on petitions and submit a petition to the community that would petition their feelings on petitions before we petition for an end to all petitions.

But if I voted to get rid of petitons on a petition to get rid of petitons wouldn't I just be perpetuating the problem that it is trying to get rid of? Wouldn't it just be an endorsement as to how useful the petiton is? Doesn't this fall into the whole 'Jumbo Shrimp' conundrum?

I have never run into this, but... I'm assuming what you have are the folders containing the images? Wouldn't you be able to either create the cusrsor with cursorxp from the graphics ..or put the folders in the cursorxp /Themes folder and see if they show up when you open cursorxp. Maybe the file you need is in the folders?

The .packages file should be in the Parent Iconpack. It is. The sub packs should have nothing exta except there .iconpackage file should be .subpackage. Yes, I changed each to ".subpackage". Okay. I went into properties and made it so it opened with notepad. 1. I have my main package saved as .iconpackage. 2. I made my 3 subpackages, saved them individually. 3. Opened Package Builder, loaded the main package and added the 3 subpackages. 4. Opened the ".packages file" this created in the folder of my main package. 5. It's not bad for what it cost and all. Not much extras...CD-Rw/DVD drive and five ports for USB, flash and stuff that I nevr use. I put an extra hard drive in the open slot you might put a DVD-RW. I just went back and looked at that link again...I think the 'R' is for RAID. I don't know if that download for the VT8237R would install RAID (sorry, I don't know much anout this stuff) or if it's specifically FOR a PC that already HAS RAID.

No. It's a specoific model made just for hp. The site you linked doesn't even list the model number VT8237.
