Keymastr, One other thing on the Logitech cordless keyboard is a back buttom on the left side by the scroll wheel - yeah I know its not on the mouse, but I still prefer to Logitech to MS.
A lot of people can't use the higher resolutions, don't have large monitors, or have laptops where its impossible. Anyway half the fun of the OD progs is customizing them to suit your desktop needs and resolution (very easy).
I use the logitech cordless optical as well as the cordless keyboard and love both. The deal I got was mouse price + $20 to get the top end keyboard with scroller, audio controls, etc. Hard to beat and I have been using logitech products for years now. They are always less than MS for a comparable product.
I started with an article on WB and the free version as a curiousity. From there I found NextStart which seemed to be the menuing answer I was looking for, Decided to purchase both. But if I was going to pay for WB the OD package was a much better buy and included all the goodies (even though I was unsure of how and when to use them). I now strive for an integrated look and feel with IP, OB, WB and good ole NS (DesktopX is my next challenge). I have become like many others here. A plain windows
I am running a G2 MX400 on a P3 933 and its works beautifully with Windowblinds. Don't think its your video card. MichaelO
You know, its really nice/refreshing to see two folks understand the explanation in a polite and friendly manner instead of flaming the site as has happened so often lately.
Be aware, If you went to the link it downloaded some advert type spyware to your machine. My firewall caught trying to link back out. >
BoXXi, I liked the story even more than the art. I am into dragons and the words evoked my own imaginings of Yum and Serenia.
Jafo - I'm sure your laundry is bright and colorful!!!
What's up with the fonts?
You know - we really need a dinosaur icon/emoticon for people like me!!
I started in the time sharing business so first home computer was a TI Silent 700 thermal printing terminal w/ accoustic coupler, attached to an IBM 370 mainframe (30 Meg of real memory (ouch)). Have you ever played StarTrek on a hardcopy terminal? In those days it was a wonder. <A HREF="https://www.wincustomize
As all have said, enjoy the break but please come back. As a Nextstart user your works are at the top of my favorites. MichaelO
Jafo - this is good to hear from those with experience. I bought PSP for the same reasons.
MichaelO seconds Chris's shameless plug.
I tried deleting cookies and even the ~Wincustomize directory. Net - problem got worse!
Take a look at 'Dusk' by Sylva_cg76
That would be logical. The reason I asked is that the first message showing in my list hasn't been touch in 10 days! OOps now its second.
Does anyone know what the order of message threads is in the the top half of the message board on SB (the part that looks like Outlook)?
Thanks Donna. I thought I had looked there.
Any body know where the Dusk Qnotes skin can be found? I tried several other sites with no luck.
