I can access the wallpapers section just fine, so I don't think its a WinCustomize problem.

Of your wallpapers, only OrangeFlux and Greyslide seem to have any comments (1 comment each.) Are you using SkinBrowser or your Internet browser to access the comments? Doesn't really seem to matter, I could get there either way.

I was just at the wallpapers too and I can get to the comments for your walls, nice work by the way.

Currently it's down for level 2 / Citizens until we get more bandwidth.

Hmmm odd , well I am using my browser to go in wallpapers, Im just a student so i cant pay per month for the skin browser, dont have a job cause I live in the country so theres not many good places to work during the summer when im away from college. I will try deleting all temp files and cookies on my comp see if I can figure this thing out.

I know what it is like to be a student and have like noooooooooo money. but from your statment it would seem that you think the subscription is paid every month. it is not every month. it is 20 dollars for 2 years. That's right!!! 20 dollars. 1 payment.. no hasles.... 20 dollars.... and that is it.... for the next 2 years. Not 20 dollars a month or 6 months or even a year.

That might be still to much for some students... but if you think you really like this stuff then get it. I know I am glad I got it and I definaitly spent more than 20 bucks (bought the Object Desktop Subscription that comes with most of the programs that you see on this site)

Keep in mind if you get a t-shirt it would move you up too. I know I wound wear a shirt with "skinner" on it in NYC but maybe around the house would be good.

what if the wallpaper section is pretty much the only reason someone comes here, and if level 2 citizens like me can't even read the comments for the wallpapers they've uploaded, then why should they come here at all? sure I occasionally look at and download other skins, but I hardly ever change them once I find one that works good for me, but I change wallpapers like twice a day. So, I upload my designs here rather than at other skinning sites, because the comments here are usually good contructive criticism. I like to be able to read those so I can make my artwork better, so what are people like me supposed to do who can barely afford the dial-up connection they have, and can't afford a subscription. Sure if I had 20 bucks I'd love to subscribe, but my last 20 just went to pay my ISP so I could upload here. Maybe I should start shopping around for another community to share my artwork as well as with this one, but most places just don't have the membership or the quality that this site does.... What to do?

Well you can read your comments , Ive found out that if you post a message on the board like you just did simply click on ur name at the bottom of the post and click on see user skins then all your skins will show up and you will have access to your comments! Its a work around thing. and the 20 bucks thing, I live in Canada so Wincustomize is in USA? thats like what 40$? and id have to get a credit card? Well not right now because I ow my dad 90$ since Il pay half for my Visiontech 64m Geforce4 wich is 192$ up here so after I pay him I will for sure susbscribe if its bellow 40$ but as for now nah Il just make wallapapers if thats allright with you guys

Kelly....the Wallpaper situation is a temporary 'thing', and there are many ways to 'contribute' to Wincustomize.com....not all of them require a monetary outlay....

ok, I appreciate the timely response. Just goes to prove what I already knew, that this is the best windows customization site with the most quality members and skins.

I'll do my best to save up my pennies and get a subscription to help out, my online time is limited till after 10pm CST so that I can recieve phone calls..lol. Just one question, will you accept the pennies in a large picle jar, or do I need to wrap them..lol one more question, is there any way to pay for a subscription other than CC? because I don't have one and never will if I can help it, I'd have it maxed out in a couple of days...(I know from experience, how do you think I got so poor?..lol) I know it would delay the subscription, but is there someplace I could mail a moneyorder or something? Yes but you cant see the thumbnail so I use both methods but the wallpaper section SEEMS to work now. See im wise too, WiseOldMan but im just 19 so cant be cald old ...right now.
