Gore lost, no matter how you count it. If this country was a true democracy Gore would be president, I for one am glad he's not as he's a complete moron and couldn't give a straight answer if his life depended on it. Hard to say what would be worse, being lied to so actions are made or being led around in a convoluted tango of rhetoric and parti

O yea, and btw, im only 15, and i know my skins would never match up against skins by ne of the master skinners out there I'd say your skins stack up against anything just fine, especialy if you can keep them all at the quality Simplex is. [Message Edited]
it's seperate from DX now, check view betas and prereleases on in StarDock Central and it'll be there.
"When I'm working in the morning, I want to hear those morning doves. that's the things that makes me most conscious about working in the summer is that I'm inside with just the usual office sound. I want to hear the outside or something like it." ... And most of all I want to smell that rich aroma... the best part of waking up, is Folgers in your cup. I couldn't help myself.
Absolutely ... it's called voting. Amazing how many people gripe about how things are done and then don't bother to vote. Voting is just a means of keeping up the appearance of a democracy. It's also what bogs down are political system. Congressmen and Senaters are all so damn concerned with reelection they'll throw their support any which way.
Liberal or Conservative, they each reach to damn far and snatch all they can get while the getting is good, go figure... Pretty much have to or else they might not get another chance for quite some time. The way our "democracy" is set up is in a fashion that nothing can really be accomplished 90% of the time, and when that window of 10% comes you
Haha no, merely pointing out my dislike for him, sort of a random thought. You named several things you hated so I felt compelled to express my hate for him, no connection to you meant at all. One just has to filter his blathering tripe out of it and make their own conclusions and form their own questions. I'd rather just read through c

Haha nah, it doesn't. I expect answers too, but I assume I'm expecting answers to different questions. Answers to questions of civil liberities and whatnot seem to have a less of a global impact than those of foreign affairs. [Message Edited]
im hopeing this is a retorical remark being an example of the blindly patriotics mind set and not your direct feelings ... Haha, I'd say half and half. Wording was meant to be rhetorical, but I'm not the biggest fan of liberals.
why? He tends to attack people, not issues. He is disgustingly liberal. Gives problems by the dozen but offers no realistic solution. He often makes issues he doesn't agree with a double edged knife, damned if you do - damn if you don't. As one reviewer of Farenheit 9/11 said "but isn't that like going to see your favorite baseball team play agai
during times of old, blind patriotism was the only kind of patriotism there was. back then most could trust their politicions (or felt they could). I beg to differ, back then the population was much smaller, and political matters were closer to home. Assuming we're talking about old, old and not 1900s old. And politicians weren't quite in the bu
I think a city desktop would be cool, like the same premise as the natural desktop but with cars and what not, and less cars at night... and there'd be hotdog stands... and poodles... Oh man that'd be cool, hotdog stands and poodles... I seem to recall a wallpaper program that had animated desktops, not like DesktopX as it wasn't interactive. ANYHOW, one of its backgrounds was a canyon with a sky and cloud animated in high speed play, and it had a day night cycle. It also had a huge wat
Yeah you're right. Screw civil liberties, who needs 'em when there's war to make. Is there only supposed to be one thing on the news at a time? Sorry but I'll continue to stand for what I believe in, no matter how many "wars" are going on, and it's hardly mindless. Seriously though, screw civil liberties, no one seems to be able to give a straig
Seriously. I load a folder or a playlist and it plays a song or two then gives me some wired error and shuts down. Sure I can restart it, but it is really getting annoying. Yeah there seems to be a problem with it playing some kind of MP3s, I guess because of the way they are encoded or something. But it hasn't happened enough for me to make an
