ic ic . thx for answering. I do agree that dreamscene is truly a good experience. WMV files take at least 60% of cpu resource from both of my cores atm. Guess i'll stick with MPG for the moment. Or maybe try a WMV to MPG converter.
Price and XP would be the number 1 killer of VIsta. I live in malaysia, THe cheapest version of Vista OEM itself cost like 300+. Ultimate OEM cost 600+. Most stores here don't even carry real versions of Vista. For a 3rd world country like us, 300+ is very very pricey for a software. It's no wonder that most people won't even look into VIsta. Only computer geeks like me will want to try it out, everyone else is happy with XP.

hey guys, i've been using the snowflakes object found here, it works really great. i totally love it.. i was wondering if is it possible to create a leaves fallling object? kinda similar to snowflakes.. but instead of having snowflakes falling. you have leaves falling.. it's abit early, but it's for the autumn season

another question, where can we send bug reports? , i'm not trying to get any support, but just trying to report bugs and be helpful to this freeware one of the bugs i found winamp3 causes objectdock to crash, when maximizing and minizing it, it causes objectdock to crash.

good patch.. my xp is much faster now in bootup time and more stable too
my os is winxppro, after installing the sp1, don't feel a change at all.. not diff.. maybe alittle bit more stable (don't see that IE window error poping up that often. but still see it once in awhile)

frogboy : i'm using one of the desktopX objects.. i believe it's from the cromedom.. or something like that.. it's basically a plugin.. it seems kinda accurate.. coz it's the same reading as the task manager.. it's basically reading the cpu usage..

well my message wasn't meant to be negative in the first place i've tried the demo for desktopX and am well aware of some flaws. (which all programs and softwares has) but inspite of all those flaws, i sitll liked desktopX and thus i purchased the package just trying to improve the situation alittle

i'm just curious.. lately my system resources seems to jump whenever i open up a new item / window in the and it stays up there.. for a while.. until i have no windows open.. when i have nothing open.. my system resource is around 4-6% when i have 1 window opened, it's around 30-40% to me. that's kinda alot.. is it because i have a faulty memory leek skin? or it's just desktop X? here's my config: WinXp pro 1ghz cpu 768mb ddr ram pc 2100 120gb hdd 8

i've been looking around for icons.. found some really really cool ones at iconfactory.. sadly though.. i'm an XP user, so i can't use those fabulous Mac icons.. especially the OS X ones.. is there anyway i can use them?? i tried to unzip them but didn't work.
i love them just curious though.. is it possible to use icon packager to import them? or ya have to like change all the icons one by one??
