it sucks? come on!! maybe your dock sucks but mine does everything i want it to do. i absolutely hate icons on my desktop. with the quicklaunch bar and objectdock, i have all the shortcuts to apps and docklets i want. besides, when it's on autohide, how is it taking up desktop space?

now that i've had a chance to examine things a bit more closely, i think the second one has a trivial amount of pinnache that the first one doesn't possess. i think if you look again, you'll see what i mean. the slight nuances, altho small and almost indistinguishable, are exquisite.
