I know what you mean. But i've always loved my name cuz it was so unusual, it made me feel special. Emilia. But i get called Amelia, Emelia, Emely, Emily, Amy (??). I dont know what's so hard about Emilia, it's just the spanish version of Emily. Anyhoo, i am what i am too
