I refer to those who can use numbers and data mathmagicians. I don't have the knack for it. I know what I wrote above has helped me increase my score but as far as what percentage it increases or buy what points will my score be better if I do this instead of that, I am clusless.

I can crank out a suicidal tiny galaxy victory in about three hours, hoping to eventually get that down to somewhere between 1 and 2. I do need help with maximizing my score though. Is there any guide out there that can help me? maximizing score is really just about the legnth of time you maintain high levels in the 4 catagories and the micromana

For me it's just a comfort thing when you aren't the strongest. The others will look at your total strength including your ally, I think before declaring war. So I guess it's kinda like a quick boost in military rating. And at some point I have to stab them in the back or kill them. Sad really Ally = last to die. <img src="http://images.stardock

That would be me. FC for example is a monster at being able to crank out games in a relatively short time but most of his games scored in the mid range. He's since kept up the rate of games while increasing his scores which makes him truly dangerous.

For me, reloading if something did not go the way I wanted it, takes the whole fun out of the game! Agreed. Game crashes, farm and orbital terraformer bug, and missing turn button are the only reasons I reload.

So none of you old hands have seen signs that the Stardock devs get some dataset value out of posts to the Metaverse? Yes I believe they do. I don't think they can determine very many specifics, such as speed of ships that Brad alluded to that they could. I figure at most they can see that x number of planets were taken over in y num

True. I usually buy the new while upgrading the old at the same time as economy allows. I do have one ship that costs right at 20K so I know I can always buy that to avoid the penality.

Here it is: after each turn have the game submit an encrypted message to the metaverse and save that encrypted message on the save file. Not all who play the Meta are connected to the Meta when they play.

which means??? (for those of us who didnt quite get that) Easier way to identify if a planet or other object falls with in a group of SB AoE.

I'm with you, Q. The AI should definitely be able to 'just say no'. As a sidenote; In games past, races sympathetic to my cause have gifted me with ships- which I readily accepted. It has been awhile, so I honestly can't remember whether I had the option to refuse. Yes. You can refuse but the AI can't. Why decommission though. Build

It is the McDonalds. I 'acquired' this planet from the Arceans. I already had nano recorders, hyper computers, and the Omega research center. Omega had already been built or I would have scrapped the resturant (if you could) and built the Omega on this planet. 6 resources sounds about right.

From Code Critter. Concerning SBs. Nice to know stuff. They do accumulate/overlap. If you select multiple starbases by holding CTRL and dragging a box around them, you will see the areas that they affect light up, and any areas where they overlap will be brighter.
