Hey, do you know if your population floating in transports counts towards taxes? I don't think so. Easy to cheese if they did.

They should lower the requirments. Can't wait to see what Evil and Wheel say when they see this. Freelancer requirements. Microsoft® Windows® 98/Me/XP/2000 PC with 600 MHz equivalent or higher processor 128 MB of system RAM 900 MB available hard disk space 8x speed or faster CD-ROM drive 16 MB video card req
Congrats on your first victory. Now you need to set your character to default so your stats will show at the bottom of your posts. From the home page. Go to my account, edit my characters, default character.
Well if they do hopefully that will fix it so Discovery Spheres will finally uograde to NLCs.
DA will have the same requirements.
I have been building fleets of 7 transports built on huge hulls. Each has a single adv crew carrier, and a speed of something like 107. Sounds like a lot of extra room. And a bit expensive.
I don't seem to be having these issues as much as you guys but I usually browse this browse through SDC. Never had an issue on the ship either. And my garbage gov't pc has to be about the worst thing around.
Wheel you have my support on this one. I wouldn't mind seeing a galaxy or five that all could d/l, play and then compare score to others. Good reason for another medal and AARs as well. Only issue would be difficulty setting. Hard to compare score/play style with players on different diffulcity settings. But that could probably be sorted out too.
Unless the AI is changed to deploy it war fighting forces better no amount of speed nerfing is going to help.
Morning Diplomats.
In the end this will make no real difference, the people that can beat suicidal AI’s will still be able to beat suicidal AI’s, it will just take longer and be a bigger micro management pain. is because of The AI n
Try here .
Might be a bit to late. The key is to stay out of war until you are ready for it. Do what ever you can to get peace. An ally won't help now.
Hello, new to the game. I've been reading these forums, the manual, the wikipedia, and I can't seem to find an option to have ships auto-launch after manufacture? There have been three threads about this very issue today. Little small bule box with the arrow in it on the RHS of the screen. It shows up under the completion icon. <br/
Outstanding!
RHS of screen. When a ship is completed a blue icon will pop up. If you right click on that it will auto launch the ship and center your screen on that ship with that ship selected. Directly below these icons you will see 2 small icons. one red and one blue. The red will clear all the completion pop up icons on the RHS of the screen. The blue will launch every ship that was completed that turn. You will find all of this on the main screen. Not to sound like an ass but the tutoria
You can also auto launch all ships built in the last turn. Look for a little blue square below where the ship completion icons pop up.
What I found odd was I had no military ships at the time If you have *some* military you usually don't get them breaking out. At least from what i have seen. Haven't had this many times though.
If 6 to 8 is the speed, then you may as well just put in stargate type of travel that only allows movement from system to system. This is the kind of movement that the AI can deal with. Restricting speed to this ludicrous value on a map that's 240 parsec's across is an admission that the AI can't really hack an open movement system. Well stated.
Or they can come from the Galactic Prison UP issue if there is a prison break.
WOOT! WOOT!
1) Ships move SLLLOOOOWWWW. I mean the animations do. When I click "Turn" and I have 60 ships when 100 or so moves on each, it takes bloody forever. Is there a way to speed up the animation delay? Don't watch them. Before you click turn, click on a corner of the map that still has the fog of war. Your ship(s) will still move and you won't
diplomacy- to stay out of war. infulence- to flip planets. engines- hit and run.
We will just have to use the speed while we can. My 80 knot transports just got Ultradrive. Man I love that event.
I didn't want them freeloaders wriggling out of paying me , but I can get all new people to shake down . Any use all those freeloaders to max populate a newly conqueored planet immediatley for maximum taxiation efficiency.
