So, FC. Does this mean you get to tell the cook what you want for dinner? Yes. Dinner is always a la carte. I don't really know what a la carte means but the card I fill out to get my nightly steak says that.

OOD = Officer of the Deck (Third in Command). Only for 4 hours though. LCPO = Leading Chief Petty Officer. Responsible for 127 kids instead of my normal 60.
ack. Acting LCPO this week. Minimum play time.
Indeed!
They should do what pirates do best which is attack freighters and unprotected starbases. Absolutely Mumble. Soft targets.

Only me. Purge is godlike .
I think so to. Maybe that will bring Mag back.
I asked a few Qs in reply to your post. i am toying with it a bit now on Obscene. A walkthrough would be good. Then further refining. I am seeing 500K Diplomat games in the near future!
BOOM for 239K.
@ Mumble
To the new 5th palce player! I am almost done with one of my own. Hopefully in the next 30 min or so... Edit: Drop a few lines at the Core about how you did this. Inquiring minds and I would like to know...
For those of you who enjoy conquest victories, how do you deal with the mind numbing logistics and tedium of destroying thousands of ships? Is there a simpler way to do all this that I'm missing? Hail HCH and good day. Instabattles is a good way to shorten this up. In game, go into the menu, then interface. In the Battle Legnth box set it to I
Thanks for the replies and support. I.E. Your income is 2K, and the cap is twice your income. So you cap is 4K. Then when your income is 200K, your cap is 400K. As stated before I am not a code savy guy so I don't know what it would take to do something like what Purge has stated <TABLE cellpadding=8 width="95%" align=center b
Can i just build a few basic factories to start first and upgrade later? It's strange that a high tech civilization have a harder time to evolve and colonize then a lower tech one. So now I am at the point that if I don't spend 60-70K bc every turn on ships, social builds, and sundry to get below the cap I loose 25-30K that turn. Reganonomics???
I haven't seen a post about this recently so I thought I'd share some in game experience with the 20K cap/bug in another effort to get it removed/fixed. 6 turns is all it took to go from a solid economy to complete production shutdown and back. if you take a constructors and/or a base hull ship and put them in a fleet and attack they will level up alot faster then if you build a starbase or improve the hulls once you get them at a ridicules level you can then build lets say a two hundred level or how every high it is starbase or upgrade to a high level fighting ship that is unbeatable. a starbase th

Master U? Post #7
Industrial sectors and NLCs are big ones to gift that will bog them down.
I would not replace existing ones. I usually build research on my planets and those of the first race I defeat. On all the rest they get converted to SMs.
I use Torian with + to pop growth, economics, morale. Some of the bonuses come are inherant to the race you are playing so trading back may cost you a point or two you could use elsewhere. Also, what's the best way to build a cheap military early on to deter aggression? Don't. Use diplomacy to keep them off your back, trade tech, give
I believe I've heard the term "will be was engines" before in a movie, or it kind of sounds Dr. Suess like. Can't place it, but definately sound familiar. @Fuels Chief: Is "tugs with will be was engines" a hasty typing thi
