I thought my 14 pounder was big, but yours is ginormous! Reminds me of my grandfather's cat when I was younger. Glad that he's getting better too. Our Euripides gives us enough trouble with pills, I can't imagine trying to give him shots.

He's a clever little bugger. Tonight we gave him the pill, made sure he swallowed it (we thought), waited 30 minutes, and let him eat. I sat down on the bed while he was eating in the next room, and what do I find on the comforter? The pill. Nothing else, just the pill.

I'm seriously thinking of just waiting till HW gets home (in MARCH!) to take the tree down..... Yeah, I was going to do that when SPC Nbs was in Korea, since he got to come home on leave in March. I think I had it down though. I think. I might have to go check on that one...............

This is a very thought provoking article. Growing up in a family of faith (father, grandfather & two uncles are ministers), I have not struggled as many do with the idea of God, Jesus, or faith. I have and still do struggle with organized religion. I am active in my church, but at times it is very difficult not to run, screaming, ripping my hair out. Faith and a personal relationship with God, imo, are simpler than the trappings and traditions of c

I am learning to appreciate older cars, which is good, since SPC Nbs would love to have even more. Right now we're waiting on the title for a 67 MGB we were given. As soon as we get the title, we'll get some work done on it and get it on the road. He thinks it's his, but I figure he already has his mustang.................this one's mine.

Pounding my fist against the glass, yelling, screaming, hoping that it would make a difference. I've been in this situation several times, and the best I've been able to do, ever, is pray, and let the person know you're there. It's a hard lesson to learn that I can't fix things for someone else, I can

The past two weekends have been awesome. The weeks have been okay. Our Thanksgiving was not much, since SPC Nobody Special had to work. When he got home, we headed over to my boss' family's place in the country. His dad's a retired chopper pilot (2 tours in Vietnam), and when my boss was growing up, they always had soldiers over who didn't have anywhere to go or w

Don't forget...you have to use your talents for teaching and singing to coach me for next year! I won't forget...................it'll be fun to have you in the choir. I'm hoping to talk SPC Nobody Special into working up an audition piece for next year, too.

You deserve the calm, and the happiness that will soon follow. I'm glad you're feeling better.

What is it that people say? Oh yeah..................wish in one hand and shit in the other, and see which one fills up first. In this case, either one would be bullshit. You want us to hate you? You want us to not care? You think that you're weak. I'll tell you what I told a class that told me they were angels........................I'll take that with a grain of salt and buy it with a bridge. Yes, I mixed up my metaphors, and they didn't get i

Thank you, thank you. I'm glad you enjoyed the concert, and ecstatic that you were able to be there, period. It helped alot to know that there were friendly, familiar faces in the audience. I guess I hid my nerves well.......

She is a beautiful little girl, even more in person. Thank you for letting me hold her. Maybe it will stick this time..............

I'm late, but I'm here. A couple of years ago, we started calling each other babe or baby. I call him by his name alot, but I rarely ever hear my name from his lips. Its mostly spoon, spoonhead, or some variation of that. There's also my baby, my dear, and my darling. Most always a 'my' in front of anything, which makes just about anything okay. We do refer to each other as Mama and Papa when we're talking to the cats, but not to each other
