Someone please help, this has done nothing but screw everything up. I installed it, reinstalled it, and it still stinks. Its installed, and the lil icon is in my toolbar, Welp, big deal, i double click it to open up the program, and i get Nothing... I download a theme from this site, and I have to manually open the .zip file because wbload wont do it automatically like wb4 did, And, once i do get it to work, theres Zero transparency...

O.K. Tango Yankee Sir Bichur. So, you installed through SDC? Is there not a difference between doing that and waiting for the link from Stardock in order to insert the serial number furnished? Or, does the SDC already know if one has purchased...therefore the serial number is not necessary?

Is everyone with Object desktop going to get a email for a direct link to the new blinds? Im trying to get WB 5 through stardock central and it keeps erroring out at the end. I uninstalled the version I had and rebooted. I found WB in the display props box and tryed to use it and it wanted me to actavate it. I did and rebooted. I tryed to then use it and it just keeps wanting me to reboot again? Any ideas?

Just upgraded through SDC, everything appears to have worked just fine. Uninstalled 4.6, rebooted, installed 5, rebooted again, the configuration window popped up and took a while to load all my skins (I have wwwaaayyy too many skins in my library ), but voila, they were all there, and everything looks fine so far. I like the new look of the configuration window .

I had 4.6 installed. I did not uninstall it first. I clicked install on 5 and SDC said the other needed to be uninstalled first, when I said yes - it uninstalled it. I just kept following the prompts. No problems.

For me the update from beta to the full WB5 was a breeze all the past prob's had gone!!!!

Thank's again guy's for all your hard work, the $50.00 i spent i will spend again next year

I could never go back to a normal desktop again (i'm a stardock junkie now )

are you downloading from the popup screen if so don't it dident work for me, say no and upload from SC it self!!!

Im just clicking install under the action button in stardock central. I also tryed right clicking it and install from there. Thanks for the responce.

its right after it gets done extracting all of the files stardock gets a error and has to close.

DocX, what's the Stardock Central build in Help / About? It's old. Slap http://storage.stardock.com/files/sdcentral_setup.exe over it and then try the install, after restarting SDC once when prompted.

I am confused. I have Windowblinds 5.00.001 dl from SDC over the betas and getting rid of WB4. I was not prompted for payment or any instruction. Is this the full version?

the skin i was applying was a vista one but not the glass one what does this pixel thing do and how do i know if it is a pixel one?

Also should be option to have that notify off. as it won't work anyway.

to post #71... I have a Radeon 9700 Pro and it runs great with Windowblinds, including the glass crap added to it. I am assuming that there is not much difference between the 9700 and the 9800.

Oh yeah! Looking good here and I don't even have a good graphics card! Worth every penny!
