I am just hoping that people start creating some nice looking skins and themes for them, instead of the crap that's out now.

Since there is only a few skins made for wb 5.0 I can only assume that you include my 3 FLAWLESS 5.0 skins in the crap. You will never be satisfied. Your life will be a miserable one. That makes me happy.

After spending $70 for Object Desktop and then have garbage to choose from, then yes, I am not satisfied. I do admire you and other skinners for taking the time to design your skins, but they are not what I am looking for for my desktop. Yes, I am extremely fussy when it comes to detail. It's just a matter of my opinion and from what I have learned from this site is that a person is not allowed to express their opinion, unless it's good.

But on a lighter note, I am a fan of VistaXP, designed and organized by KoL. That is very well done.

I also noticed that people are frightened to make new Icons for IconPackager.... How come?

Why didn't you browse the skins here before buying a product suite that applies those skins.

What did you base your purchase on? I am having a hard time understanding the process and am interested.

A few prccesses I can think of:
See advertisement for WB. Like screenshots. Purchase.
Visit WC. See skins. buy WB.
From what you describe it's more like:
Want new desktop look. Buy WB. Don't like prepackaged skins. Visit WC. Don't like [most] available skins. Don't [or can't] create own skins.

I don't get it.

And as far a expressing your opinion. Anyone can do it in [almost] any way they like here. But if you want that opinion to be respected, you need to present it in a respectful manner. And referring to material as "crap" doesn't cut it.

I'm just gob-smacked....Lost for words.

I wasn't aware that $70 could actually purchase one the right to disparage most of 'your' fellow site members, particularly those who DO contribute more than a failed acerbic wit.

People can have different 'tastes'...some can believe themselves to be consummate experts in 'fussy detail'....others can be past masters of the digital/skinning/GUI 'art'...but none have the right to prance around declaring [almost] everything is crap/garbage, certainly not when they have no education/experience with the craft.

There are people here who MADE that crap/garbage who probably would rather such critics did not deign to cast a shadow over their doorway.

This has nothing to do with opinion, good OR bad...but about behaviour, appreciation, and respect.

Garbage? Well bite my warty green behind

A lot of people have put in time and effort learning and creating and then sharing for FREE and you call it garbage? Asshat.

Yes, I am extremely fussy when it comes to detail.

I'm betting it's more like obsessively anal rententive.
But then, from what I understand people tend to become that way when they keep their head up there.

Hence the moniker of Asshat??? LMAO!
I'd love to see things from his point of view but I just can't get my little ol' head that far up there........
