#113 : in fact to be sure WB5 will correctly install itself, i unload WB, turn tha appearance to "Windows Classic", reboot the PC, uninstalled WB 4.60 (all the skins are kept and still avaible), delete some files left in the WindowBlinds directory, reboot the PC, then installed WB5 (which will ask you to reboot also)

darkboo: You were only allowed to use the 4.6 shareware version for 30 days, we just didn't enforce that limit - though a few features did get disabled after 30 days.

If you like the software then please help support development & purchase it.  If everyone uses the shareware version & never pay for it then why would Stardock make new versions?

Okay, so we can DL it......
But what´s with the free Upgrade ? Bought WB 4.6 one Week ago.
So this means the Upgrade is free...
But when i type in my Mail Addy and my WB Serial it will still Money from me

Denon36 - when you bought 4.6 did you get a link for SDC? did you register your WB through SDC? if you got SDC then you want to download through SDC - turn off 'show pre release'

If you have version 4.6 and bought it after September 1st was it? then you will get the link or SDC will have the Update button activated in a couple of hours, im living in the east coast of canada, and if Stardock is located on the west side of the US, then its only Noon where they are, so its just turning into the afternoon, so give it time people, its Day 1 of release, its not going to disappear after today is said and over with. these guys have worked a long time on this product, so please have some patience.

hmm wierd, i got the email with a download link for WindowBlinds 5 enhanced, and the serial to register the product. give it time then i guess. or check SDC to see if its in the Purchased Software section

#145, The free upgrade is provided to people who purchased it from 1st September 2005.  Before that its a $15 upgrade fee.

If that's when you bought WB, I don't think you will get a free upgrade. I believe I read only those that bought WB on 9-1-2005 or after will get it.
