Okay, I uninstalled the program. Now does anyone here have AIM that would
be willing to lend me a hand? Sorry for being an asshole earlier, I was just pissed.

Update!: Now I am unable to remove the program, via Add/Remove

Welcome to the world of Computers my friend. If you are new at this ( at least you sound like it ) then you troubles with software are only starting. Software has the tendency of making people wanna take the PC an have it meet up close and personal with a hammer. Probably where the phrase "hit any key" was born. But you gotta take it easy, hammers and PCs are like water and electricity, they don't mix very well.

If you are having dificulties unistalling the software then most likely the installation is the cause of all your headaches. Perhaps you should look into alternatives on how to uninstall the saftware. I believe that CCleaner has a feature to help unistall software. Do some research and figure it out. Once done I suggest you try what WrecklessEric offered as a good guide to installing the software. Anyways, not every software was made to be liked by everyone. There's bound to be someone who wont like it for what ever reason. Just don't claim it to be a "piece or crap" when the problem may not have been the software but maybe the one installing it. Hey, even I get it wrong once in a while.

You wouln't happen to have any other Stardock products (paid) and thus access to SDC - the Stardock downloader, installer, browser?

If so look in there. If not:

Look in the folder and see if the uninstaller is in there.
if not:
Have you tried the Zapper from #12?
It's designed to remove any Stardock products that have trouble uninstalling.

If it works, then follow WrecklessErics's instructions in #19.

If it doesn't work (I have saved for future use, but have not had to use it {other people have been given the link to it in other posts and reported back it worked}) post back here.

We all know how frustrating it can be when stuff doesn't go right.
Hang in there.

#28 - Okay, I uninstalled the program.

I'm relatively new to computers (2 yrs) but if I understand it correctly - if you got it uninstalled, you probably won't find it in the add/remove anymore. If you did uninstall it then start with number 2 in post #19.

In some cases Add/Remove will still report a program as installed, that is not, after it has been uninstalled via another means such as a shortcut or the odntzapper.

I was about to type all this out...then I read Lantec's post.

If so, open SDC, look at the bottom right hand corner. "uninstall" button should be lurking around there somewhere.

Be sure to restart your system (or explorer shell, at least) to let windows catch up to you and the uninstall.
Did you get the evaluation splash screen? TryNow<---click it.

I still wonder if this step was taken yet.
